I have received a letter from ELMS Legal?

Hi Everyone 
I am back in my parents house now due to the corona situation so today I opened a letter from ELMS Legal saying field agent confirmation and I have to pay them £400 

Now their office is closed today but what is this all about? 

Please help

    No idea.  Why are you asking us?  We deal with private parking tickets, not what appears to be a random, unsolicited demand for money from a legal firm.

    Do you or your parents live on a farm? I can't think of any other reason why you would get a letter from a field agent. I wonder if it is an offshoot of doorstep collectors. Personally I would find a display of doorsteps to be quite boring and certainly wouldn't pay to see a collection of them.

    As Umkomaas has said, we know less about this than you do because you haven't told us what the letter is about.

    these letters are sent after judgment for either Excel/VCS , no field agent will call, its just a template letter yes a doorstep collector is quite funny  :p

    Hi 
    Sorry I am just angry so I went to this forum. This ticket was from a parking stay in Morissons 5 years ago and I never received any letters until this one today

    You need to check your credit record if (as BrownTrout seems to suggest) a judgment in default has been awarded against you as a result of an undefended Claim.

    Does the letter refer to a court judgment being awarded against you?
