Nine times out of ten these tickets are scams, so consider complaining to your MP, it can cause the scammer extra costs and work, and has been known to get the charge cancelled.

Parliament is well aware of the MO of these private parking companies, many of whom are former clampers, and on 15th March 2019 a Bill was enacted to curb the excesses of these shysters. Codes of Practice are being drawn up, an independent appeals service will be set up, and access to the DVLA's date base more rigorously policed, persistent offenders denied access to the DVLA database and unable to operate.

Hopefully, when life gets back to normal, it will become impossible for those scammers who are left to continue their vile trade, but until this is done you should still complain to your MP, citing the new legislation.

Just as the clampers were finally closed down, so hopefully will many of these Private Parking Companies.

Good morning, I would like  help and advice regarding a PCN from NCP.

Help and advice is all contained in the NEWBIE sticky, which is on the first page of the parking forum use this LINK to take you to it.  When you have read it and understood it (at least the first post - and it is not a skim read) you can start a new thread if you need to ask a specific question, rather than jumping on an old thread belonging to someone else. That way lies confusion.  If you do post a new thread you will receive bespoke advice for your circumstances.
  • Thanks - as a newcomer I hadn't realised I was posting on someone elses thread - I'll delete and start again

Copy it and post it in a new thread before deleting it to save you having to type it all out again.

So it seems they listened to my previous email whereby they are trying to consolidate the claim, but still ignored the £60 added charge some screen shots I have taken, they have not replied since I have requested who has added on this charge them, trace or NCP. , Seems like i cannot paste URLs to old of an account: They sent me a table with the list of references numbers 3 filled out so far out of 10.

Keep banging on about it.  Failure to address the issue could be very embarassing for them in court.  g

    Update from BW Legal:

    Good Afternoon

Thank you for your email, the contents of which have been noted on file.

Please be advised, our Cient has not instructed us to add any amount to the balance other than our service fee for dealing with the matter.

The original balance was £100.0 but as you failed to accept this balance the matter was transferred to us and our fee of £60.00 has been added.

    Our position remains the same.

Should you wish to discuss this matter further, please contact our office on 0113 487 0432.

    Kind Regards,

    bwlegal
