    • So, I notice you haven't shown how a settlement offer of £160 is unlawful yet.
I have no interest in doing so, I have better things to spend my time on than feed the egos of those trying to better me in debate.

    Hi All,
So I believe I think i have 9 with TRACE legal department and another 1 with BW Legal. I sent the email to BW legal the other day as advised.

I have recieved from Trace today for 3 of the PCN's, another letter wriging"

You have previously been written to requestiing settlement of a parking charge. this matter reimains outstnadin.
As all other attempts failed ro recover the charge, our client is now isntructed us to asses and prepare your case to take potential legal action again you in the County court. To prevent sucj action, you must pay the full amount outstanding with 14 days of the date of this letter.

How should I best proceed with Trace?

Ignore them - are you reading the advice in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky about debt collectors?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I was going to re-use and take the information I sent onto BWlegal and substitute parts from that as a response. To Be honest Im sort of lost where I am in this now with Trace. A bit in over my head to say.

    Your concession is accepted
op - no complaint to sra about a settlement offer. It isn't unlawful and they just file YOU under crank.

Actually I did not say  "So, I notice you haven't shown how a settlement offer of £160 is unlawful yet."  you did.

OP by all means take the Count's advice,  I do not give a tinker's cuss, I am not the one with a PCN.

You've conceded the point as you made a claim, were challenged to support it, and you've refused to do so.
    Carry on.

You are entitled to your opinion, I am entitled to mine.   In my opinion, my opinion carries far more weight than your opinion. but that is just my opinion, your opinion may differ

So Maybe do both, resent an email which I stated to Trace and also file another complain to the SRA

Your refusal is fact, not opinion , and so holds more weight
good to know it is a mere opinion that it is unlawful, not a fact.
