21 is to do with if you cancel.
Last sentence.
"In the case of airline ticket refunds this is normally 4 to 5 weeks from the point your cancellation request is submitted for consideration to the airline" (my bold)

And Section 22 says "you may be entitled to" so not very good either!

It doesn't really matter what their T&Cs say, as legally if they cancel you are entitled to a full refund (they broke the contract)fifeken said:And Section 22 says "you may be entitled to" so not very good either!
T&Cs never override your legal rights

Full refund due from the airline, but Travel Trolly still need paid for the work they've done surely, meaning the poster will receive less.Life__Goes__On said:

Yes Travel Trolly can take a fee bit It would have to clearly be laid out if the T&C what the fee is.fifeken said:Full refund due from the airline, but Travel Trolly still need paid for the work they've done surely, meaning the poster will receive less.
Just to say "we can take a fee" is to general

Just about to embark on my own quest to get a refund from these guys. Have got a few canned response emails and am at the point where I need to pick up the phone, but I'm really trying to get clear in my head what I'm entitled to straight in my head first. So as I understand it because they didn't lay out how much the cancellation fee is in their T&C's it doesn't really hold much water and I should be entitled to a full refund? Also I booked using a debit card (stupid I know), I would assume it's very unlikely I could convince my bank to do a chargeback?EDIT: some good reviews have just started trickling in on trustpilot, maybe they've caved? Or they're just trying to cover up the bad ones

Spoke to a Travel Trolley representative tonight regarding cancelled flights to NYC. They have advised that a full refund from the airline can take 4 months and that I should call them back in August. This doesn't sound right at all.0

Depends who the airline is. Most agents won't have the liquidity to refund their customers straight away, without the refunds from the airline. If the airline are taking that long, then that might be the position you are stuck in.Trev0rDan5 said:Spoke to a Travel Trolley representative tonight regarding cancelled flights to NYC. I don't mind waiting for a full refund. If that's 4 months away, it's 4 months away. I just don't want 4 months to come and go, call back up in August as instructed, to then be told that I am outside some customer guarantee or something.bagand96 said:

Also, I can't find any sources anywhere stating that Virgin Atlantic are taking 4 months to issue a refund on cancelled flights.0 -
I recently called TT, they informed me that they would give me a refund, but not until 6-8 months time.
Any advice if there's a way to get this sooner? They stated that all information is on site and told me they can't give me this in writing.0
