Anyone got a refund from TravelTrolley or communication from them?
Comments

They can do with as the have preformed a service (booking the tickets, claiming a refund etc).
But they can only do this if it's their T&Cs
Also it has to be "fair".

Thank you both, the flights were cancelled by the airline we were due to travel on the 1st April.
Travel trolley are quoting section 38 of their T&C’s, but this only relates to if we want to amend the booking.0 -
Write back to them telling they have made an error, they have cancelled not you so section 22 is in force.
22.Flight Changes
Should your flight be cancelled your rights and remedies will be governed by the airline's conditions of carriage. As a result you may be entitled to: (a) Carriage on another flight with the same airline without additional costs; (b) Re-routing to your destination with another carrier without additional costs; (c) Receiving a full refund; or (d) Some other right or remedy.
If a schedule change occurs to your itinerary prior to our receipt from you of the full price, or prior to the issue of your tickets (on either the outbound or return flight) we will do our best to notify you on behalf of the carrier.
Should a schedule change occur to your itinerary after full balance/ticket issue, on either the outbound or return flights the relevant supplier's decision will be final and amendment charges may apply.
The airline's conditions of carriage is to give a full cash refund, they have no other option as long as that is what you want.
So make it clear you want a full refund

38.Changes & Cancellation By You
Any cancellation or amendment request must be sent to us in writing, by email (sent to email@traveltrolley.co.uk from the email ID registered with us at the time of booking), and will take effect at the time we receive it. Please ensure that you have received written confirmation of any changes to your booking prior to travel. Whilst we will try to assist, we cannot guarantee that such requests will be met. Amendments and cancellations can only be accepted in accordance with the booking conditions of the Supplier/Principal of your Arrangements. The Supplier/Principal may charge the cancellation or amendment charges shown in their booking conditions (which may be as much as 100% of the cost of the Arrangements and will normally increase closer to the date of departure). In addition you must pay us an administration fee of £150 per person per booking.
Air Ticket Refund: Many airline tickets are paid for in full at the time of booking and in case of cancellation, unless otherwise stated, they are non refundable, non changeable and non re-routable. In respect of any alteration to an APEX ticket or certain other special fare tickets, some suppliers (particularly airlines) may treat a name change as a cancellation and as such will not refund any monies.
Where an outbound portion of your flight coupon is not used the return sector will be automatically cancelled by the airline and no automatic right to a refund exists for such part-used tickets. All other partly used tickets are normally non-refundable and cancellations made within 24 hours of departure are non-refundable.
Please note: some Supplier/Principals do not allow changes and therefore full cancellation charges will apply.

Did you get anywhere with them? My uncle booked a flight and firstly they offered voucher refund but no response since 28th March 2020.0

I have asked my uncle to send them this email:I am still waiting to hear further from you since my last email. After seeking some legal advice it's been highlighted that I am entitled for cash refund under EU laws.I am in great need of these funds and request you to urgently refund the full amount as soon as possible.I will wait to hear from you within next 7 working days before consulting a solicitor to recieve further advice on full refund and other damages caused due to the delay in your responsibility to resolve this situation.I hope to hear from you soon.0

I booked Gulf Air tickets with Travel Trolley, departing 27MAR which were cancelled by the airline on 16MAR.
I first emailed TT about it on 17MAR and they initially offered me a refund which would take "8-10 weeks". Then when I followed up to check progress on 12APR they said " as per the travel advisory they are offering refund in the form of a credit note", which frankly is a lie because I took a screenshot off the Gulf website at the time (17APR) which said tickets may be refunded without penalty (see screenshot). I to & fro'd on email with TT but my last comms was on 17APR where I gave them 7 days to refund, which they have not done.
I'm now in touch with my back (Lloyds) since I paid on Credit Card (Mastercard). However, thanks to this forum I know my claim will be chargeback rather than S75, as there is a travel agent involved. The initial Lloyds call centre person tried everything they could to fob me off and say I would have to agree to a credit note, but I stood my ground and I'm expecting an email/call in 10-15 days (4-11 days from now) to initiate next steps which may be a chargeback.
If you want to take a voucher or credit note, that's your choice. If you want a refund, then be prepared to fight it out, that's what I'm going to do.

That is wrong, it's it a S75, unless you paid via Paypal (or another like that)
Also you do not have to take a credit note, it is not the same as a refund whatever anyone might argue
