TUI refunds thread

The website is having technical problems. Have messaged them on FB and Twitter but no reply. Just wanted some reassurance that if I paid any more money they would give me a refund if the holiday is cancelled. But by not being able to get hold of them does not leave me with much confidencePollycat said:SAZB12 said:
I want to pay the deposit but all phone lines are down, so not sure what is going on. Doesn’t leave me with much confidencebradders1983 said:Being snowed under wont be helping. They have to deal with 100% holidays being cancelled, all shops being shut, staffing issues etc. Can't you do it online through 'manage my booking'?That's how we paid our balance.0 -
Yes, Milo. The person who initially started this thread. Page 6 when he first said it was refunded, & page 8 when he confirmed it again.louby40 said:Four weeks today since we requested a refund and still no money? Anyone had theirs?Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.1 -

Can anyone recommend an alternative telephone number or email address to contact TUI. I have tried all of the ones listed without success. I either get engaged tones, recorded message saying number does not exist, number not registered or to try again. I have been trying those numbers for over 5.5 hours already. Thanks0

How did you book the holiday? Online or in store?0

No it’s the second part of the deposit that I need to pay! The balance is due later this month.bradders1983 said:

I booked online. Their system will not accept final payment. I had same issue paying my deposit and had to phone them to be told their was a cliche in their system.

Looking for a bit of advice. I have paid for my holiday in full going out May 22nd to Greece. There is zero chance it will go ahead but given the issue with refunds do people think I would be better changing to next year, I can get same holiday but year later for an extra £140 which won't have to be paid until next February, or should I wait and take the chance on getting a refund?0
