No-one is phoning my landline to tell me my computer isn't working (though I guess they're busy thinking up other scams!)0

Not having ‘larger’ people shout out, ‘you call that running’0

It's not only cold callers at the door that are now not bothering me, it's also cold callers on the phone. Although I have a Call Guardian phone which stops most calls, the call nos. are logged so I have to go through them and delete them on my phone. Now, with NO such calls, I don't have to delete them, thus making my time more useful.0

Living in a very congested and polluted part of inner London it's been wonderful to see the air quality improving day by day and the sinus problems my GP attributed to said air pollution clearing up too.if i had known then what i know now2

Well at least I can have garlic bread on a school day! I'm a teacher so breathing garlic breath over the children is a no no!1

My husband and I are both self employed performing artists and lost all our work in a stroke on 16/3 when the theatres closed.
Massive silver lining? We have 3 young children and now have the leisure to spend serious quality time with them. We've set up a home school and are getting a load of stuff done around the house and garden that might have otherwise waited 20 years. Thank God for rainy day savings! (and the grant expected in June) - if it drags on past the summer, one of us will go out looking for work in another field, but for now we'd rather spend the money we have set aside investing in our family time. It's something we would never have thought to do but we are deeply enjoying.6 -
I'm getting to spend time with my 3 early adult/late teenage children for an extended period of time. I'm enjoying it while it lasts as I don't think we'll spend a long time together again in the future - 2 of them are at university with the third due to go in 2 years time. I doubt they'll all live at home again together. I'm making the most of it - and they're actually all getting on together

I'm not commenting on politics, but as per the CNN some world leaders are trying to encourage peace rather than war so that medical efforts can be focussed on those who need it most:So that's positive news at least!Indecision is the key to flexibility

When I was at University many years ago the person who oversaw our Physics experiments was very fond of garlic. He used to lean over us and the fumes leaked out of his very pores.Lormor said:Well at least I can have garlic bread on a school day!
