How to STOP hoseaons taking autorenewal payment!! We had a holiday booked to travel in July and had only paid min deposit, despite calling, emailing and cancelling our booking well within the correct cancellation period, no reply!!. So for anyone affected please note the payment is set up to auto deduct from your bank or credit card!!. We contacted the bank and requested a stop payment and cancelled our debit card and requested a new card, this means if they try to take the payment they wont be able to!!. Also Regulation 55 of the payment services regulations 2009, Parts 3&4. States any card provider/bank that fails to obey customer instructions to stop any payment must refund any payments that occur after the request to cancel is made!. CAll Your bank and follow up in email stating this law and your instruction.0

We are booked with a Landal Green Parks (Hoseasons) for 29 May and are still waiting for a change proposal as they are only dealings with holiday sales that take place before 22 May at present. I’m attaching an extract from their terms and conditions. I think 16.3 means you can reject the change proposal and ask for a refund but not sure how easy it will be to actually get it!

Can anyone advise?
I had a Hoseasons holiday booked in the UK for the end of March which was obviously cancelled by Hoseasons. Paid for with a debit card. I requested a refund but this has been refused and I have been offered a voucher. This voucher comes with conditions, they will honour price of holiday if I book the same dates next year but this has to be done before 4th June by phone (impossible to get through) or it can be used TOWARDS the cost of different dates but has to be booked by December. It's impossible to know what our situation will be by June or if we will be able to use the same dates at this moment and if I did book and couldn't go then I would loose money altogether. Hoseasons say that as I didn't take out cancellation protection I am not entitled to a refund but I didn't cancel, they did. Also they are members of ABTA and in their code of conduct, Section 3Bii clearly states a refund should be paid. I don't know what I should do next. Thank you in advance.

There are a few existing Hoseasons threads running, plus some on U.K. holidays which mention Hoseason issues. You might wish to review those to see how others in similar positions have got on.0 -
Hi all,
I have a holiday booked with hoseasons for a group of us. It was decided we would re book as it's a boating holiday. Hoseasons sent me an email voucher for the total cost. I have rebooked for later this year but our original boat was too expensive so I have gone for a slightly cheaper option. This leaves 70 pound left on the voucher. Has anyone had any luck having any left over funds refunded to them and also do i have any entitlement to this money back ? Thanks0 -

Were Hoseasons not one of the firms cited by the CMA for abusing their terms and conditions ?
Hopefully they will be shamed into acting more honourably.0
