Some ALDI prices have actually gone down a little, which surprised me!

Yes, I noticed that on basic mouthwash. It's now 39p. I'm sure it used to be 49p.🤔

Probably slightly OT but some products disappeared and haven't returned.
I use ironing water because it really works here on the chalk streams. It disappeared when producers were focusing on hand-wash and hasn't yet returned. ☹️

Get the cheapest spring water you can get for your iron. Only important thing about the water is it is not hard water.
I've used the same steam iron for over 12 years now, no scaling, just use Asda 2 litre spring water, about 19p a bottle!

Looks like the idiots have started.  My local Asda, Tesco and Home Bargains cleaned out of bog roll and a woman photographed leaving Asda with a trolley stacked high with them.

Yep - just logged into my Asda account. Loads of toilet roll (and pasta) out of stock. Don’t people realise the reason for the shortages is them stockpiling. But hey Asda’s 25% off 6 bottles of wine has started!
  • Saw on FB Asda won’t do anything till they run sales reports, see the increase and then put limits on items (so may take a few days).

Which is absolute nonsense.  They can see "as it happens" sales data.  All they are interested in is getting it off the shelf and into the till.

My SIL was only allowed one pack of Paracetamol in B&M today.
