How long is taking people to receive these?

It was an almost immediate email. I'd tried to 'amend' 2 bookings I had but the system wasn't allowing it. So I opted for the cancellation & credit notes/vouchers. Bit worried if it would all go pear shaped, but they bounced in to my email within minutes (2 separate ones).
I've used them both already for later in the year, no problems with that either, both codes working. You can only use one voucher per booking, & if necessary within this year you can cancel your new bookings & receive fresh vouchers for the full value (all under their Covid-19 policy).
Not as good as Premier Inn, who have allowed refunds - but better than nothing & generous enough in the circumstances as it was our choice to elect for Saver Rates.
Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.1 -
Thanks
A week on and nothing here.0 -
I asked for a refund for my saver rate using the app they provided on the website - should have got a credit note. Got a confirmation email immediately saying my booking was cancelled but NO credit note attached and none has arrived, a week later. Their page now says the credit note will be attached to the email. No free number to ring, of course. Not sure what my next move is. Anybody else find a way to contact them w/o paying a toll call rate?0

Try Twitter or Facebook as they have been responding to people on there and taking booking numbers to check where the vouchers are. Usually they say wait five days but if that time has passed then social media seems to be the easiest (and cheapest) way to get a response. Even that seems pot luck though.

The credit note was a voucher code & was IN the body of the cancellation email, not as an attachment, highlighted by being in a red box, from the word "Please down to "Apply". Confirmation & Cancellation numbers were all in red.

Agreed, same here - although I applied for the refund using the covid refund app, the email I got made no mention of a voucher. I have tried Facebook tho nobody from Travelodge seems to be using it on Sunday, perhaps not surprising.0

I'm still waiting - cancelled 2 bookings on the 18th (ie after they announced they would send out vouchers for Saver bookings - the original scheme was the same value as the booking and expiry Dec 2020, not the new 25% extra and Dec 2021).
Never received any further emails with vouchers attached, and I've emailed customer support last week once I found out about the improved terms.
So, has anyone who cancelled through the Travelodge site received their vouchers yet? The original FAQ said they would follow after a few working days.

I did everything on 23 March:
Cancelled 2 bookings, got 2 cancellation emails with voucher codes. Re-booked for later in the year & received invoice email followed by booking confirmation email. All done & received in the total space of 1 hour.
I would have said you'll have to be patient, volume of requests & all that, but it is strange that I did this AFTER techno12, yet had no problems. Not massively bothered by the 25% & expiry extension, any refund on the saver bookings is generous. Good luck everyone.Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it.0 -
Been on the live chat - he had to process it manually.
Unfortunately the expiry date of the first voucher is 02-Oct 2020 so useless. 2nd one hasn't arrived yet. He says to quote the case number and they can extend it. Blamed IT issue for the vouchers not being issued, though at one point did say that I'd cancelled too early as the scheme started on the 19th. It didn't, the COVID-19 banner on the Travelodge website prompted us to cancel saver bookings a few days before the 19th (you could cancel prior to this and receive the voucher so long as the stay was on or after the 19th)
It's annoying as the voucher T&C's stated 30 Dec 2020 originally (now that page has updated to 30 Dec 2021).
No 25% extra (not too fussed but would be nice, it's more the expiry that bothers me).1
