Valli I would appreciate the guide please. I have uploaded some word searches but I suspect I should have done this in a different section.Kitchen tidied
collected 3 different wheelie bins which were all emptied today and opened back gate for DH to take them around.8 -
Awww, thank you for all the lovely comments...it's taken until tonight to actually get to read back on Fred uninterrupted.
Kazw i hope that things pass quickly and the couple move onwards quickly and you get to enjoy your new home XXXI went for a lay down just before lunch and lost best part of 3 hours! I didn't feel quite as exhausted but throat is still sore and chest still feels like I am mid-panic attack and I could still do with an early night.
Kitchen recycling and bathroom bins emptied cleaned and rebagged. 2 X WUDUPA..2 X WM, 1 x TD.
Put 3 bags of emergency provisions away that were brought in mid afternoon, and that is more than enough. But I will try to start list properly in the morning. XxxThe cold never bothered me anyway11 -
Morning (waves) xx
I hope this morning finds you all safe and warm at home - even if it's a temporary home kazw xx Clouds are zipping past my window from my right to left so there must be a stiff northerly breeze out there. I've not been outside yet, but I expect it's on the nippy side of brrrr. Thermals may be needed down on the lotties today ladies.
Now that I am feeling more myself, the reality of what is happening out there is hitting home. Hard. There's some deep breathing going on here to move myself from aaarggghhhh to ommmmmm. ionafan - I think you'll understand when I say that suddenly 2019 is looking like a piece of cake in comparison.
It seems to me that I have two choices: fall apart or hold it all together. I'm choosing the latter. So, coping strategies in place, big girl's knockers knickers on (Freudian slip? it made me laugh so I've left it in), accepting that a wobble or two is to be expected and not to be feared and......
Round 1 =
have a shower and wash my hair
get weighed
get dressed in clean clothes
bring down the laundry hamper
breakfast
feed the birds
put out the rubbish & recycling
sort the washing
WUDUPA a bowl of pots
coffee
And breathe.
Love to all my flylady friends. Thank you for being there.

Morning ladies
Kaz I am so pleased you have completed, well done xxx
Skint and Round - big hugs to you both. My mood is so up and down at the moment.
Please can I pick Flylady brains on home schooling? As you know, I teach high school and feel so useless with my two (in Years 1 and 3). DD (year 3) is quite motivated, enjoys doing her school work and will happily get stuck into whatever I put in front of her. However, DS (year 1), is really reluctant to do anything at home and gets quite grumpy when I speak to him about it. It is ironic because at school he absolutely loves learning, adores his teachers and thrives off the school setting. He does read at bedtime each night,
I don't know how much I should push it or whether I should just accept that him doing half an hour a day of something, whether it is purple mash, reading or some sort of life skill is okay. Any thoughts from those in the know would be appreciated xx
We will be going for a long walk through the forest today, which I am looking forward to. If anyone gets a chance to watch Secret Life of Pets 2 I would recommend it, it is just short of 90 minutes and really easy watching with some fun comedy thrown in XX10 -
MorningCan you turn your walk in the forest in to a lesson? something about trees, birds, leaves etc?I'm still in bed, seems to be windy out there.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Morning all
Have been missing the last couple of days, work busy and I’m not sleeping well so have just been managing the dailies. I think it’s going to hit home for me today and tomorrow as now I don’t have work to take my mind off things...
So, flying it is! I slept better last night, I was exhausted, wm is swishing, I have managed to keep that up to date so all good there, DH changed the bedding last night so that’s ticked off the list. DH wants me to cut his hair as he didn’t get to the barbers before they closed... could be interesting LOL!
I was really hoping to be able to do some garden jobs but it’s pretty windy right now, will see how the day progresses.
Have WULTD, will shower and dress next and then give DH the chop!
Back later, take care all x8 -
Morning all
It’s been a slow start to the day. It is so windy out there, and the earlier sun has gone. One load of washing is twirling like crazy. DH is cutting the grass. DD, for reasons best known to her, was up early-ish and sitting chatting with me in the LR. Such a rare event, that all else is temporarily on hold.
Today, we are supposed to be shifting some furniture around. That has been on the list for a while, so I’m not holding out too much hope for it happening today.
I’m think I’m going to call a halt on gardening for today - not pleasant in a gale.
Back later, stay safe and well all x9 -
Morning all. Not been posting as manic busy at the paid stuff finding new jobs for those who have had to close businesses etc.I have had my exercise for the day. I took the dogs for a walk for an hour. Very cold and windy so I'm also putting off gardening today.
Dailies are done, second wash load is on the line.Spend less now, work less later.10 -
Round 1 completed + changed the towels. washed the towels & tea towels, pegged out same. Watched it rain on towels and tea towels, decided it would blow over and, touch wood, it has. Second load is swishing. Cans soaking ready to be recycled.
I am wearing perfume
