Don't give in.....Just received final £87.50 refund from my May booking with STS Holidays [ Snowdonia Tourist Services ]
Total refund of just under £700. Took some time , received £600 plus in a couple of stages via negotiation and threats of either chargeback or small claims court action. Final £87.50 paid into my account via a charge back claim on my credit card.0 -
Apologies if this has been answered previously but on looking through the thread I haven't seen this raised. Any advice would be gratefully received. In 2019 I booked a holiday with Sykes for April 2020, I asked for a refund on March 23rd but was refused. They told me that my only option was to re-book, by email so I have it in writing, which I did in a panic because I didn't want to lose the money. Since then the CMA told Sykes they had to refund people's money. Sykes though say that because it is a new booking under new T&Cs I am not entitled to a refund. I don't understand and it seems grossly unfair. Any advice please?0
