Remember the colour will intensify when used on all walls with the colour bouncing off each wall.
The yellow looks nice, make sure you don't get a citrus yellow though:eek: I love duck egg blue too which is quite a warm blue I believe.
I would also use matt paint, a much better finish in my opinion.

I love Farrow and Ball paints but my husband is too mean to buy them:mad: and as he is the decorator, what can I do :rotfl:

I read a suggestion somewhere on the forums to buy a F&B tester pot in your chosen colour, paint a piece of paper with it and take it to one of those Dulux Colour Match places where they mix paint for you. HTH

Pale dusky pink always goes nice with brown. Nothing too bright.

How much brown is in your room?, we have a dark brn leather suite, the focal wall is a lovely chocolate colour (cocoa) by crown and the rest is (Mimosa by crown.)

I'll try and find a pic, but bear in mind with the camera the colours might not look exactly how they are on the walls

All the furniture is matching Walnut and chocolate brown. The sofa, side table, computer desk and unit the TV sits on. It's the range from Argos

Everything is in this range except the sofa which is chocolate brown suedette

My main wall is a chocolate colour and the side walls a cream, cappucino by Focus. My curtains are brown and so is my rug, so i do need another colour in there somewhere.

I was thinking maybe olive green - I couldn't really find a picture of exactly the look I like, but this sort of thing:

    Not THAT rug though!
