Consultation letter and termination letter together with final statement of entitlement now received......so many errors and omissions in them it is unbelievable....and laughable if this were not so serious.
At least we now have hard evidence to take this forward. Employer also refusing to answer the most basic of questions such as how many days annual leave taken to date in calendar year in his records....he has totally disregarded any holiday leave entitlement and next to redundancy pay has written ‘NIL’

if the statement of entitlement indicates that pay in lieu of notice is payable when exactly is that due to be paid.....is it now or over the duration of the notice period.

The statement says that date of leaving is 3rd August but in reality notice period of 12 weeks ends in October; have pointed this out and employer verbally admits it is a mistake.
Does he need to send corrected statement?

Pay in lieu of notice means that employment is terminated earlier than would otherwise have been the case, and payment in lieu of notice is paid on that early termination date.

If the notice letter is so fundamentally flawed can the employee reject it and only accept notice of termination to start from the date that a correct letter is received
