KLM issuing vouchers instead of refund

- The 'easiest' way I've found to contact KLM customer service is via WhatsApp.  Takes 2 or 3 days at a time, but at least I get a reply.
- As for one leg cancelled, but not the rest.  If you're not able to make subsequent flight because the first one is cancelled, then you should be refunded for all flights.
- Make sure not to accept a voucher, regardless of how long a refund takes, because it could end up being worthless.  When you request a refund, tell them when you're expecting to receive it (has to be at least 7 days in the future) and if you haven't received it by that date, then you contact your bank and request a charge-back on your credit card.

I just received vouchers from them despite telling them I want a refund, I paid by paypal and opened a dispute there a couple of weeks ago.
What should I do now? It's crazy that they're doing this really

Hi everyone. I don't know if this topic is relevant, but still. I am working at KLM customer support and maybe I can help you with solving any of your issues. Yes, it's true and most of you are right, when all this staff began in March 2020, KLM decided to issue only vouchers for the ticket price, because it was not possible to make a refund for all the passengers at the same time. But the time gone and now KLM is back with the refunds again. So, if someone of you are still holding a voucher you can contact a customer support and submit a refund request with no problem.
