I'll update post 1 to suggest this isn't going ahead - I suggested as much the other day, but I've got the PDF that I downloaded at the time still...Mortgage and debt free. Building up savings...2

Yes I know - see the Halifax thread for discussion.margaretx9 said:
The Halifax website says 1 July - and has for weeks? And you need to tell them by 12 June if you want to keep a rewards account - or you automatically revert to a basic Halifax account on 1 July. So you need to opt in - its not automatic.colsten said:
Many people are of the view that the Halifax changes will happen on June 1 for those who have letters to that effect. See the Halifax thread for the relevant discussion.margaretx9 said:
The Halifax reward changes aren't happening until 1 July - and those details are clearly posted on the webpage.
If the decision deadline is 12 June - how can they changeover on 1 June?
I would trust the website - in two places - over emails.

I've just applied for the Coop account on the basis of the rewards. since the interest rate on my Flex Direct and all their savings accounts plummeted. I'm just waiting for details through the post.0

@keiran - thanks for that. Reference on page 3 of your linked document - "MKT89260 12/2018" - exactly the same as I have on the stored version from March. I'll update post #1Mortgage and debt free. Building up savings...2

Glad I went to all the bother of setting up a replacement DD in order to keep the £4...for whole 2 months longer
.Oh well one more account that can go dormant waiting for the remote chance of a switching bonus (another Santander style switch incentive fest would be good then we could have a right good cull of now pretty pointless accounts
