Looks like it. You'd be hard pressed to spend 60 times on debit card in the current times!financialbliss said:so looks like they may have changed their mind for now...?

Has no one ever objected to you doing this ?bristolleedsfan said:For months I have been doing 1p x 6 per day water payments with required info copied and pasted from word document, will take 10 days when changes come into effect.
I usually manage the 30 transactions but now I am shopping as infrequently as possible it really isn't going to work for me anymore. I pay for water by direct debit currently so don't know if I could do this either.
I haven't had any notification from Co-op either.
Coop Bank will be happy as AFAIK it get paid for debit card transactions, Water company have not said anything, they could increase minimum transaction if they wanted to, have not done so, W.C replied to a message I sent them re forthcoming years £5 a year discount for paying by DD. didnt mention or ask me about 30x1p payments per month.

Also if you look as a new customer the everyday rewards are advertised as they are now.mummyof5 said:
I never could find it when you linked it. Here’s hoping !financialbliss said:How odd. I've just checked the PDF I've linked to - post #1 on the co-op website and can confirm the contents are not the same as the one as I originally linked to (which I saved)...Now wondering if they are posponing the changes in light of the current Covid-19 pandemic - purely speculation on my part, but I've had no notification either and the banner on the rewards section of their internet banking where the link to the changes PDF initially was has gone, so looks like they may have changed their mind for now...?

Re my earlier post, when I used Google browser and thus autofill I found verified by visa password challenge kicked in every time, I have now gone back to non google browser, copying and pasting required info, verified by visa password challenge only kicks in 1/6 occasions which is the most i do Coop 1p debit card transactions via water company make a payment on days that it is done.

Who makes 60 debit card transactions a month?
Still maybe I will pay per item instead of per shop when I go to the supermarket. 10p banana - 5p from the Coop.
If enough people take the p - they might review things!
Still easier to follow than the new Halifax reward scheme though!3 -
What do you meaning using automated Amazon gift card payment only cover 28 transaction per month?quirkydeptless said:I was expecting worse when I saw the thread title
At only 5p a pop, I don't want to do the transactions manually. My automated Amazon gift card payments only cover 28-31 transactions per month, so not got a solution currently for the extra ones to bump it to 60. A puzzle to be solved

Automated £1 daily top ups to my Amazon Gift card from my Co-op Debit card. 5p from Co-op, so I think of it as a 5% discount which looks better than 5palandaniel132 said:

How do
By 28-31 I mean 28 happen in Feb, so I do 2 manual ones, 30-31 in the other months. If I created a second Amazon account doing the same, I could to the 60 automatically.Retired 1st July 2021.
This is not investment advice.
Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."1 -
I wish! Don’t think for a moment they won’t make the changes though. They informed you then reverted to the current offer which like many institutions they don’t bother to flag up the impending change.financialbliss said:How odd. The sixty transactions is just a ruse to make it appear you could get almost as much as before but in reality means most, or just me, will get about £3 max instead of £5 per month based on my guesswork!0 -
They didn't inform me - the only place I've seen it is here.Yorkshire_Pud said:

No, 60 transactions is to make Co-op Everyday Rewards pay for itself/maybe profit and/or reduce what is being paid out to those who cannot/wont meet the new threshold. at a time when Banks are scrapping/reducing/changing rewards for doing very little/nothing for them.Yorkshire_Pud said:
