@Jadietemp that’s such good news! Congratulations xx1

No not yet! They’ve been working with my company for a reference but because it’s a large company they don’t fill out individual forms so it’s taken forever to get it sorted.KelBelle88 said:

@Uokian our affordability was also questioned, infact they came back to us, 3 months in, and told us they wouldn't lend anymore because of the '£500' a month my partner spent on fuel, which was surprising- annoyingly there had been a c*ck up along the way, as my partner doesn't pay anything for fuel, his company does, but someone somewhere had just taken a guess that he paid it, and that it amounted to £500. we had to get his employer to confirm this over email, which took a week.
i hope the issues you're having are sorted soon, your offer is so close now.1 -
Just wondered.. when you reach final underwrite after valuation.. how many go through vs declined?0
-
There’s only been a few declines on this forum and I don’t think any have been during final underwrite. I’m sure it could happen but it tends to be in the checks beforehand.0

@lhollingworth89 i think as long as your circumstances haven't suddenly changed (jobs, income, financial commitments etc) and as long as you still meet affordability, then i think there's a very slim chance of being declined at this point.
And that's not to say that after offer, you're safe. I've read that up until completion they can withdraw at any time. I've read of someone who went credit card crazy after offer, and a last minute credit check caught them out, but i think as long as you're sensible, and nothing drastic has changed since your app went in, then you're okay. final underwrite should just be a case of confirming and double checking everything they already know.

Thankyou. I’m hoping we should be ok. It’s a right to buy so we don’t need too much, and the valuation have put the value as at almost double what we want to borrow so fingers crossedJadietemp said:@lhollingworth89 i think as long as your circumstances haven't suddenly changed (jobs, income, financial commitments etc) and as long as you still meet affordability, then i think there's a very slim chance of being declined at this point.
