Bluestone Mortgages

I am genuinely so pleased for you. Sometimes it pays to be a bit pushy. Time to sleep easier!citylife said:
Thank you for your advice . I pushed my MA to push BrightStar to push bluestone to pick up our case yesterday. One little set back, they needed a letter from my employer to confirm my job will continue ( my post is fixed contract). This morning bluestone got back to my MA, who told me they were very happy to offer the mortgage phew !!!Thewaitgoeson17 said:That really is a long time. I agree, definitely chase your MA and stay firm. I suppose you could look at it as no news is good news, but you should have an answer by now. Let us know how you get on and good luck!1 -
Update: Hard Credit search 26th MarchSortingmylifeout7 said:Just to join in - we received our DIP on 3rd March - our full application went in on 15th March1 -
@sonervous86 will do.
I've submitted so many documents now. I can't cope not knowing if we will be accepted. My friend has just moved house and took advantage of covid repayment holiday, she has a mortgage with High Street lender and they were fine about it 🤞0 -
Has anyone that has got to the application stage been declined with Bluestone? My nerves can't handle it much longer 🙈😬🤣0

Anyone had soft searches done on their credit report after a hard search? I’ve had soft searches toward the end of the month every month since Jan but had a hard search done 15th March and then soft searches done 26th Match. Assuming it’s an automatic thing?0

@hopeful89 I have 2 soft searches done on the day we got the DIP (9th March) nothing else yet thou0

My understanding is that they’ll be soft searches on or just before the DIP..hard search as it moves underwriting..then soft search just prior to the offer.

@kb21 our soft searches were done on 10th March so a day after you. Where are you in process now? Have they asked for much stuff?0
