Hi everyone
am in emotional turmoil
DIP 1st feb
full application 6th feb
asked for more information 16th feb sent the same day
had an update today that they were looking at applications from the day before ours so should hear tomorrow we passed the first underwriter now it’s gone to the second.
I feel sick
how many people have been declined at this stage? How long is it taking others who applied around the same time xx0 -
I dont think anyone has been declined after the DIP ... the DIP an underwriter looks at it manually so if its a no at DIP then tahts that. if its a yes at DIP and you apply your good, PROVIDED NOTHING HAS CHANGED on your application from DIP to applying and you have been 100% honest with your broker! stay positive, you'll get that offer soon!!!Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!1

Oh so feel for everyone here......it's the most nerve-wracking thing trying to hold your nerve! We've exchanged and should be completing next week - so solicitor will be applying to draw down the funds from Bluestone this Friday - has anyone encountered any issues at this stage? Is it straightforward or should we expect more to'ing and fro'ing again! 🤦♀️.1

We submitted our documents on 16th swell but have been told we are in a que and should hear by early next week. today I had a wobble with MA as our vendors have threatened us, that if no progress is made by this Friday, they will put the property back on the market. I think we are coming close to the end of our journey, unless a miracle happens.Spenny01 said:Hi everyone

How do you keep your seller calm and patient during the process? But after 7 weeks with no news on mortgage, I have run out of excuses to tell the seller.0 -
We submitted too on this date. They’ve only came back asking us to ask our solicitor to add themselves to their panel. And yesterday they queried my partners bank statement (2 payments for contactless transactions) my nerves are shattered we just want some news 😔Samfaye01 said:My application has still not been looked at and it went in on 8th Feb how long have people waited for a valuation date ?0 -
I've asked our mortgage broker to ask our packer 'brightstar' what date they are up to as we have been told they are not taking escalations now. Estate agent is emailing weekly!Firsttimebuyer_04 said:

@Samfaye01 it’s all a very stressful time. Our sellers solicitors want a date of entry for 12/03. It really is our dream home. Trying to stay positive! Our mortgage advisor said she expects an answer this week but the pressure still feels heavy!1

Yes it does! A few on here have used Simply Adverse. They have good relationship with Bluestone and do pre underwriting! Timescale with them is about 3 weeks from submitting to offer! When we submitted a document we got an answer the next day none of these waiting a week in a que!Palmerl8 said:Does timescale depend on which broker you are using!~ Looking for the light at the end of the tunnel ~0 -
UPDATE 23/2/21:Stacey_Gibbons said:
Ours went in end of Jan, hard search completed on 2/2, request for further information on 10/2 & submitted same day. Was told by MA on 19/2 that we were still in underwriter queue & not heard anything since! AARRGGHH!!!!Samfaye01 said:My application has still not been looked at and it went in on 8th Feb how long have people waited for a valuation date ?
MA has emailed to say BS happy with paperwork & are instructing the valuation! Something I thought I would never hear......3 -
@Stacey_Gibbons great news! All the best with the valuation. Let us know how you get on 👏🏼1
