Just trying to stay positive as we had our offer accepted on a property on 02/02/21. Hard search was done on both our credit files 15/02, I’ve been reading everyone’s timescales but I guess it’s all just a big waiting game.

So here goes week 10 of application , was told by MA that brightstar would have an update by Wednesday if documents sent in last week was okay..that's with our case supposedly escalated 😔 Only 5 weeks until 31st March.. Its looking more and more like we're going to run out of time and loose our house as bluestone are just taking too long 😭  my faith and patience have gone. 😔

@Firsttimebuyer_04 I've been in mine for 10 months, moved during first lockdown. Things are a bit different now, but also pretty much the same. Most buyers on this thread are in England, which I stay on it to help those up here.

I see @MovingForwards it’s nice to read other people’s experiences regardless whether England or Scotland. I just hope we hear some news as it’s been a very long process for us as we put things on pause during the first lockdown. Both key workers and found it hard to concentrate on work plus all the stresses of getting everything sent over to our mortgage advisor. But here’s hoping to a fresh start in 2021!

@Firsttimebuyer_04 the best advice I can provide is have faith in your broker. I know it's very hard, but they wouldn't have placed you with Bluestone if they didn't think things were a match.

@MovingForwards thank you. Very true, this is our third broker we have gone with over a period of two years and she’s the only one who actually got us a DIP and went to full application. Fingers crossed.

good luck.. we are in our 7th week.. and to be honest, I am scared to even ask for any updates now, incase they want anymore documents from us..But I am a lot calmer now, stressing out isn't really helping me. If we can't complete by 31st we will have to pull out. I have lost my faith aswell- wishing you best of luck and keeping fingers cross for you!

It's so sad and frustrating isn't it, Im not sure how quick bluestone timescales is with releasing money after offer, if its anything like the application we have no chance 😔 really regret not changing our MA now as I think that's half the problem and also brightstar as the packager,  just feels like they haven't a clue with what there doing 🤔.

We're just waiting to exchange and have been advised by our solicitor that bluestone require at least 5 full working days between exchange and completion.
