We sent in last bank statements 2 weeks ago, we are still at final underwrite stage, we are just so fed up now, our MA has now contacted head of underwrite who has now escalated our application. But last we heard bluestone had a 6 working day window to look at submitted documents. Also we was informed yesterday that bluestone timescales have now increased and working over time.
Which is no help for people like us using the old help to buy scheme 😔0 -

Hi I’ve been following the post for sometime. After having a horrible experience with Vida we started a mortgage application with bluestone. It went in on 27th January. We haven’t had a hard search. We were asked for a few documents a week ago (bank statements showing child maintenance and a letter explaining money that comes into my bank from my parents to buy food due shielding) yesterday we found out that we’ve been offered the mortgage 🥂 it’s been 3 weeks we’ve not had a physical valuation and have had very little information so we was very surprised to get the offer so soon after application and with only a few requests for documents! Does anyone know how long it takes to get the paper ‘official’ mortgage offer after the verbal? Keep faith everyone!0

We lost our original house as Vida took so long - we had paid for all searches and all conveyancing to be done so lost al it if money!! However we needed to continue with the sale of our home so found a new house and put an offer in with a DIP with bluestone. We then again risked it all by staring if the conveyancing and mortgage application at the same time. All solicitor work was somehow completed within a week!!!! And now week 3 we have the mortgage offer all be it only verbal at the moment but we are exchanging Monday next week and completing hopefully on the 26th feb which will mean from offer being accepted on the house and moving in it’s 4 weeks which is surprising!!!
we used our usual mortgage advisor who used the packagers impact. Obviously, I can only say amazing things as our experience was amazing! It cost £99 so worth every penny!I have adverse due to ex husband not paying a bill that defaulted only 1 year ago and new partner is self employed. I’m also in a new job so we’ve not been an easy case I’m sure!0 -

It’s been horrendous and I was heart broken I was more concerned for my children as they had started at the local school!!! (We are relocating over 2 hours away!!) so I continued to drive the massive drive to school and see the house that we should have had!! But now I feel so much happier with this house and that’s what I’m focused on! I hope you have a smoother journey than ours. and knew nothing about our dates and to be honest I’ve been going crazy as our MA won’t contact the packager!!! So it’s been nail biting! Thank god it was only 3 weeks! I think the research I didn’t on here helped as I had sent extra bank statements and wage slips once we moved into feb as I thought it would be something they’d ask for - maybe this helped? The packagers asked for loads of stuff before application too so I think that’s what assisted us getting an offer quicker as we had only the two document requests!0
