We still have not had the valuation, or paid the fee but the MA has confirmed that BS are happy to proceed on the basis we pay off a loan. Has anyone had any experience of this? I have asked the MA if the next step is valuation but not had an answer to that just yet. I feel like we're another step forward but still trying to not get my hopes up!

It's so stressful waiting and not knowing. I think I've had confirmation that they're happy affordability wise and now we just need the valuation to be requested, passed, final underwrite and then offer fingers crossed.
I have chased my MA up quiet a bit and they've been fantastic so far.
It takes time with BS as you go back in the queue each time they request information as far as I can make out. Keep us updated!0 -

Is it true, that if MA call BS for an update, then they will make an excuse and push it back of the que. Thats what my MA just told me.. I find that a bit hard to believe, she thinks we should just wait it out. Has anyone done simultaneous application with other lenders?0

Maybe a broker on here can confirm but doesnt sound like they could get away with that kind of practice.1 -
For everyone that’s new here
our application went in beginning of Jan via Ma & impact packaging. Impact have asked for a few extra docs - and the valuation was done 21/1/20.Nearly 4 weeks at final underwrite now and every week we are told we’ll have an answer this week and still nothing.9 weeks since we reserved the property and instructed solicitors & MA.It has well and truly taken over our lifes, everyday I anxiously wonder whats going to happen. Even a letter from solicitor hasn’t hurried BS up.Reading this thread has given me lots of hope but it’s very difficult when your life's are literally in their hands 😖🙏🏻1 -
Just had the worst news, our application only went to the first underwrite and they are now requesting 20 percent after our Dip was for 15 percent. Think this is the end of our road0

They did this to us, they wanted an extra 10k! luckily we were fortunately enough to have the equity in the house to be able to do so!Looking to remortgage December 2022 onto a better rate!1

we have just received an update from Bluestone, after 11 days since request of last documents, they have requested us for more... now they want company accounts for the last 3 yrs. I thought that they consider 1 yr... which is fine, but its going to cost us about £450 to get these documents and this after we gave them accountants certificates. We don't have any adverse credit, we have legitimate business. It is so frustrating.0
