  • For those who have completed, how long did it take for Bluestone to release funds? Our paper offer finally landed yesterday and our developer is pushing for exchange and completion next week. Our solicitors have become hard to get hold off

Ah Bluestones forever favourite word 'usually'.

It was a broker who confirmed the timeframe.

My funds did get released, and sent, to my solicitor the day before completion.

Does anyone know what's the current turnaround on underwriting if bluestone have said they now have everything they need?
Desperate to get a valuation instructed.

We got ours turned around in the same week, requested at beginning of week and completed on the Friday. The solicitor did have to speak with them first to ensure that they were OK to do that. Ideally they would have had the monies in on the day before but they finally emerged at around 3pm on the Friday. Was an anxious wait as we wanted to get it all done and dusted before the weekend, made it with 20 minutes to spare by the time it had gone from our solicitor to the builder!

I just let my solicitor get on with it after I got the mortgage offer extension.

Monies came in and he exchanged (concluded missives) before logging off for the evening and completion (date of entry) was sorted out when he logged on the next morning. I got the keys a few hours later.
