  • So the grid element is reading as normal and so is the eps when in grid mode. Earths come from the twin and earth from the lux to either the grid cut off or the eps isolator.

    so to recap

when in grid mode both the grid output and the eps output shows acceptable readings.

when in eps mode the L to e and n to e are much higher and this is going through the same cables.

I can only assume it is the break at inverter between N and E in eps node so am I earthed or not in eps mode.

plugging In my leaf granny charger shows no earth fault in eps mode.

  • regards comments about SOC for the uhome batteries, make sure your software is V1.2.9 or higher, I saw the behaviour that has been described, then I had the software was updated OTA and since then SOC reports correctly, with no big jumps. My battery connections to the inverter are from the master battery. I do get about 45 mins at 11% before the batteries run out of juice, at 11% SOC my battery voltage reduces from just below 51V to 48.6/48.8V.

Although I have a lot to learn with is kit, is there a relatively easy way to find out what version of firmware the uhome batteries are running and if older, how do I got about requesting updated firmware through an OTA update - would this be able to be updated while the inverter+battery stack is in use?

Does it have to be requested via the system installation company or can it be requested directly via Luxpowertek.com?

I'm sorry for these probably basic questions.....

I get the same thing at 11% with my Lux hybrid and pylontechs, including the voltage.

    Interesting,  I dont.
When they cross over 50v there's usually 40%+ left.
    I am around 48.8v around 10% though

I have now heard bad things about the Tesup systems so please don't take what I wrote as a recommendation.
I'm currently looking for a UK supplier who can provide advice.

The installation company should have registered them on install, if it was any of the infinity Innovations group of companies, then they use thier generic account on the aoboet app.... User is "Infinity Innovations" and the password is 123456. When on the app, top right hand corner Search for your battery bar codes, if theyve been registered and connected to the internet the bar code will show, select it and second screen shows software version. I got Jake at Big Green Beard to request update via aoboet when I was having problems. As long as you have a strong enough connection to the internet OTA update should work. I didn't notice anything when they were done, so we're done in service.

Thanks chainreaction, I'll ask my installers in the first instance, but from looking on the logs for the wifi access point, the only device that's talking to the network/internet is the Lux Hybrid inverter.....

Hi cm4ever, some of the people of this forum have been able to register their own batteries on the aoboet app, you can download it from the qr code in the aoboet pamphlet, you'll need your camera to be capable of reading qr codes as part of the registration is to read the bar code on the battery, mine doesnt so I have not been successful in creating my own account, so continue to use the Infinity Innovations generic account.

I seem to recall I could type the serial number in directly as an alternative to reading the barcode? Had to be careful to not confuse zeroes and Os but it did work? (For a while, the WiFi connections from the batteries are very temperamental in my experience)
