  • Yes, sorry I had only updated the first 2 sections last night, updating the remainder now.
  • I am discussing the point that the windscreen pcn received has an issue time of 07:59 and issue time of 07:59 which shows non-compliance with the BPA Grace Period. I have included a photo of the actual charge received on the windscreen. Is this a no go? Does this identify the driver? Should I take this out and simply refer to the timestamped photos to evidence non-compliance with BPA  grace period???

I'm not very confident about commenting on POPLA appeals re. residents' car parks.  And the exact relevance, if any, of the grace period section in this case baffles me.  I hope someone else can comment on that.

However your signage section looks okay.  Though I wouldn't include the photo taken with a zoom lens.  I know you explain that the sign is not easy to read, but pictures are more compelling than words and yours shows the sign to be clearer than it actually is.  Why not just use a photo of the sign taken from some distance away without holding the camera extra high?

The sign behind the gate is appalling - great photo, great point.

You know, I don't think you have exhausted the landowner complaint route with this.  I think you need to take a deep breath and complain to the actual landowner but this time in a very well-planned out, assertive and polite way.  And obviously that means identifying them first.

Good luck with this POPLA appeal for now.

Your grace period point is very repetitive and simply needs to say 1-2 minutes is not long enough as a consideration period for a driver to read the signs and/or fetch a permit from premises, which are upstairs (if true).

Remove the first close up picture of the UKPC sign!

    Apart from that, looks good.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

  • An observation  -  I believe the parking event was on 29.1.20 which means the BPA CoP V8 dated from 7.1.2020 is applicable  -  this states grace period is 5 mins..

Looks like V7 has been quoted from.
  • Yes was on 29/01/2020 - definitely 5 minutes now then? Thanks all for your help !!!
