    BAA info - strike 24hrs Jan 7 & 14, also 48hrs on Jan 17th.
I'm happy with that - hope some others are. Good Luck.

I hope every single worker who strikes gets sacked.

Oh, and can anyone see the 'coincidential' avoidance of Virgins dates?

I would get banned if i expressed my true feelings toward these spineless pieces of s***
  • Thank god...my holiday is safe...

At least there is some time to sort it out between now and the 7th for those affected!

I'm happy with that from a personal point of view because our trip can go ahead as planned. I'm also pleased they have decided not to disrupt the christmas and New Yr travellers, I do feel for the people who are going to be effected though.

  • I am happy too. Might not be able to get back but hey I dont mind that!

I dont know about what others think but it seemed as though the press were totally against the strikes. Sky news were saying you have no evidence that BAA will scrap pensions for current employees etc...

Phew! close for us. We fly 29th December and return in the LGW on the 9th. Husband then flies out 11th Jan and back in on the 13th. God must be sitting our on shoulders. Although I appreciate the strike dates are not good for some :(

The reason they have striked so far into the new year is because the public are well and truley not supportive of them.

But to strike on the 7th is bad, most kids in Britain go back to school 7/9th January.

Its a bad day for Britain today -Yet again a tiny minority act in a way that effects the majority.
