If you have an LBC then you should follow the advice in the newbies FAQ sticky thread near the top of the forum , second post

Nobody should be filling in the financial forms

The time to argue this out is in court , not adr and not anything else other than court either

Do not fill in the pre court pack

I will acknowledge proceedings by responding to their claim as well as submit a defense
You are not at defence (not 's') stage and you don't have a N1 claim form yet, but you will soon.

Respond to that LoC and deny the debt and remind them briefly of your dispute, and tell them that there is another PCN if they can be bothered to check their data, and this is important because if they fail to advance their 'whole case' (all similar fact PCNs/same location, car and Defendant) in one claim, then any subsequent claims will be void due to 'cause of action estoppel'.  Here is that argument, chuck this in and alter it to make sense:

If it does continue to ADR stages,
There are none on offer and you don't want IAS.  This will be resolved at your local court.  Hearings in 2020 are currently done over the phone during COVID_19 but normally you go in person to your local court and 99% of poeple here, win!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

    To confirm,
They have not complied with the PD. No information on the basis of the claim, summary of facts, its financial losses, documents they intend to rely upon and so on.

At this moment in time, I am to respond with a Letter of Acknowledgment requesting that they comply with the PD (by providing me with the details of all 3 claims) and to also ask them to advance their whole case - backed up with the case law that Coupon kindly provided my in the previous post.

I am slightly confused on how much information I need to put in regarding facts. You said to deny everything and keep it brief. So no information that can form a defence as of yet?

After posting this the next stage is to receive a reply that they have received my acknowledgement letter and send me all documents that comply with PD?
I will then file more facts/ start creating a defence?
    thanks

Edit, on the reverse they talk about 'IAS' this is not an abbreviation I am familiar with

Up to you, a long or short reply is fine for them.  Make it longer if you like, make them use a brain cell!

Typo - you don't mean 'manor'.
    in breach of promissory estoppel.
Do you mean that, just checking?

'manor' has been change to 'ensure fairness by upholding the overriding objectives'
'in beach of promissory estoppel' now just states the facts i.e. issued to the same driver, location and vehicle.

I think I am relatively happy with this, so will get this sent off to them Monday and update you with a response.

    Hi Coupon,
Just reading over this thread and making myself familiar with the Newbies thread. With regards to responding to the LoC, I have done this by word document (the draft I posted the other day)
Is that an acceptable form of acknowledgement or should I have responded by using this document:
    https://www.alliance-parking.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Pre-Court-Response-Pack.pdf
+ not including the financial part?
Reading over the threads I am a bit confused. Is the link 2 lines above the pre-court pack that Red told me not to fill out?
As mentioned, I sent a formal (word document) letter by post acknowledging their claim. Is that sufficient?

    Many Thanks for your help
Edit: so from what I have read from your newbies comment the link was a reply form...
A formal word document is okay. My reply did not use the term 'SAR' exactly. However I did request all information to comply with Practice directions.
Should I request a SAR also in a follow up letter?

    Yes.  Don't use reply forms.

Yes, send a SAR by email to the PPC's data protection email on their privacy page.
