Alliance Parking - A S Parking

Hi all,
I didnt want to hijack the previous thread (december 2019),
I also received a ticket from the same company in Swansea (different area). I live on a residential estate with allocated parking bays. Once night I came home to find that a student had parked in my place and that I did not have another place to park, the next nearest place was a couple minutes drive (10 min walk back) and in a rough area of town...
The students car was left there for over 24 hours, and I had spoke to the warden there who told me that he could only ticket them and there was nothing else he could do. I asked him if I could park behind the car (in a way that if the student needed to remove their car then they would need to ring my number for me to come out and shift it, I was not an obstruction to other residents) he replied I could park how I wanted to and said I would not be booked because I was a permit holder on the estate. I had the parking space in a contractual agreement between tenant and landlord. After all why should I not be entitled to my parking space?
The following day I come out to move my car as I received a phone call to move my car to let the student out of my space, but on arriving I had found out that I also had been ticketed 'for not parking in the allocated bay'... I physically couldn't...
On appeal I argued that my allocated space was taken and that I relied upon promissory estoppel (with 3rd party witness) from the companies parking warden, further stating that this is enforceable by law and that I do not wish to receive any letters after this appeal otherwise I will seek action for harassment...
I have received an email tonight saying that the claim is to still be upheld and that I am instructed to pay the fine?
What would you recommend to be my next course of action, threaten to take action like I did last time?
Kind regards
360ollie
P.s many thanks for your help a few years back! never received anything again once I sent a stern letter to pursue my own court proceedings to their companies representatives.

It is not a fine.
What is the name of the PPC? You have mentioned two different ones in your thread title.
What does your lease/AST say about parking/permits/parking outside a marked bay/issuing charges/court claims?
Just as importantly what doesn't it say about the above?
What happened when you complained to the landowner and MA?
Have you complained to your MP yet about this unregulated scam?
I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

lease agreement mentions along the lines of 'monitored by external security firms...tenants responsibility to abide by regulations...then says if permit is not available or unable to display a permit... tenants should park in unrestricted areas to avoid penalties' - that is all that is mentioned.
I had a valid permit displayed too...
I wouldn't know where to look for the land owner as they are apartments and residential housing?

Private parking firms do not have 'wardens'. This is not real traffic enforcement. The entire industry operates a scam and the people on foot are certainly not 'wardens' looking after anything or anyone.
You know he lied to you so he could ticket you?
You know you would win in court?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Please can you answer all of his questions.
* Alliance Parking issued the fine, A S parking are the ones dealing with the fine/ replies/ email

The parking sign outside states;
A PCN will be issued for the sum of £100 if;
1. present and a valid permit is not displayed face up on dashboard or atached to wind screen...
2. parked outside of a single marked bay, in part or whole
I have been charged £60

Whilst Alliance and AS share the same address, they are registered at Companies House as two separate companies.
I would be asking AS Parking why they are sending you demands for money when you have never had any dealings with them. This assumes the signs in the car park, if there are any, refer to Alliance parking.
This is further ammo for your landowner/MA complaints, as well as complaints to your MP about this unregulated scam. One company has been employed to scam genuine residents at your place of abode, but you are receiving demands for money with menaces from a completely different company that you have never heard of.
According to the Companies House website, AS Parking are showing their Company status as, Active — Active proposal to strike off, possibly because they have failed to supply a confirmation statement, whatever that is, to Companies House.
As for, "along the lines of" with regards to your lease/AST, that is not much help. You need to read, understand, and quote the exact words.
