It detects parts of RNA ( not sure how big and whether there are different PCR tests identifying different parts of the RNA molecule or protein molecules and how is it assured that there is no cross
reactivity with similar viruses). Antigen means something that prompts our immune system to eliminate it because it "believes" it is harmful and foreign- it this case parts of or entire virus particles, ie RNA and protein/s.1 -
Back to the markets. The last few weeks the market does seem to indicate it is happy at it's new level and the big movements have gone, for now. So on the basis of "let the trend be your friend" I bought back some about a week ago to see how things perform. I still don't have the confidence to put all my cash back into the market.0

After a few weeks of little financial information to digest.
173 S&P 500 companies report 1st quarter results this week. First early indications of the impact of the virus. HSBC, Shell and BP are also due to report.
With Airbus bleeding cash and airlines cancelling orders for new aircraft. There's going to be a major restructuring announcement in the near future.

Not to worry, it's all too easy to post out your opinion on the internet without ensuring your understanding is based on sound evidence. In this case it appears the effect was compounded by you overestimating of your own expertise on the subject due to your professional qualifications. Take this as a valuable lesson on double-checking your understanding before posting your opinion and move on.

Refers to difficult choice between two undesirable options.I came across so many occasions when people use the word without understanding what it means I decided to use the definition above as a signature.
"Although some commentators insist that dilemma be restricted to instances in which the alternatives to be chosen are equally unsatisfactory, their concern is misplaced; the unsatisfactoriness of the options is usually a matter of how the author presents them. What is distressing or painful about a dilemma is having to make a choice one does not want to make".

When you look at recent years its been higher than average and the markets have still moved on. It's a difficult indicator to pin down really and with low bank rates it looks likely to remain high ?

Schiff, no idea about choice between 2 desirable options, originally I thought it applicable to it as well - I have used the first googled definition in a signature.
My gripe was about it being used in the context of not having a clue about options: " I have a dilemma - I got a windfall of 40 k and I do not know what to do with it ".
Shall probably remove that signature - I do not feel about it as passionately now 😁.
Kinger , I am sorry what I said has rubbed you the wrong way.The word "dilemma" comes from Greek where "di" means two and "lemma" means premise. Refers usually to difficult choice between two undesirable options.
Often people seem to use this word mistakenly where "quandary" would fit better.0 -
