Completely understand a longer wait time but 3 hours and still nothing, that is just not on. Funny how every other bank i called and have accounts with answer within around 30-45 minutes. Barclays do not even answer.
Is it any wonder if phone lines are hogged by people who have 1st world "not on" problems like a missing £7 freebie?4 -

How wrong is this. I got a response from barclays
I upgraded my basic barclays account to a current barclays account around early march, maybe 10th march. i signed up for the blue rewards did my 800 transfer. My DD which i always had with my basic account had been transferred across to my new current account.
But my DD went out in early march before it was transferred to my current account and Barclays have come back and said i dont qualify for March cause i diddnt have any DD yet they charged me the fee.
How is it my fault that the DD went out early march before i transferred across????? If they wont pay me then they should not be charging me, i dont have any control of the Direct Debits. They are set up and always have been
This is an outrage1 -
You will get the rewards this month when the direct debits are paid from your new account
I can understand your frustration at being £4 down, but an outrage...?3 -

The Blue Rewards free is payable as long as you have Blue Rewards on your account, and it's your responsibility to ensure that you have enough Direct Debits to earn the reward. If you don't, you still pay the fee, those are the conditions.3
