Psssst........a little bird tells me there's a kind of unusual situation going on right now. I am not sure whether bank employees are affected by it (bankers etc etc etc), but let's assume they are a little busier than normal with calls from people who don't only not know how to pay their mortgage and bills, but also have no money to buy any food.

If it takes me 3 hours (and still not getting through) how do you think the people with no food and bills to pay will be able to talk to Barclays?

Completely understand a longer wait time but 3 hours and still nothing, that is just not on. Funny how every other bank i called and have accounts with answer within around 30-45 minutes. Barclays do not even answer.

Suggest you write a letter and give them three months to respond
