    Priced at 12:00 daily.
Will have missed any afternoon bounce on European and US markets.
  • This is a good explanation of the UK government approach and why it's possibly more sensible than other countries.

My only concern is the lack of testing, not knowing how many people are self-isolating and whether they only have a cold or flu.
If this approach works then the UK could end up in a stronger, healthier position with less mortality. That might impact the UK market if UK firms can keep going without extended lock down and extending the recovery
Mr Straw described whiplash as "not so much an injury, more a profitable invention of the human imagination—undiagnosable except by third-rate doctors in the pay of the claims management companies or personal injury lawyers"

Your money may go "down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... down and up and down and up and down and up and down ... I got all tricked up and came up to this thing, lookin' so fire hot, a twenty out of ten..."

Will continue to be choppy as over reaction is followed by reflection. Going to be more losers than winners.

Have to imagine that APAC will bounce a bit off the back of the late US surge on Friday but I'm watching Dow and S&P futures in the morning, were a notch down on Friday night, wouldn't be at all surprised to see another slump...

Yeah, that stimulus package went down like a lead balloon. Rather like travel/tourism stocks are doing...

US futures already at their 5% limit down levels. Could we see another >2000 point fall on the Dow today...?
