I realise no one knows the answer at this point, just sounding out thoughts. There is no answer. Depends how good your Defence, Witness Statements and evidence are, how good the Claimant's case, Witness Statement and evidence are. Good cases have lost and bad cases have won. Check out 'Judge Bingo'. Litigation carries risks - for both parties. I'm sure you're no further forward. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

VRM , Vehicle Registration Mark , the characters on the so called number plate , that is the VRM for the vehicle and captured by cameras
Speculation on what a judge might day is foolish , it's their opinion , but even judges have difference of opinions , so I would advise you to stop speculating , it does no good at all. Over analysis of any topic is counter productive
Note , Lord Toulson disagreed in the Beavis case with the other Supreme court judges , but the majority ruled in favour of Parking Eye , so even judges disagree amongst themselves
Argue what you like , any scenario is possible , put the claimant to strict proof , as they are required to do , it's your job to cast doubt on their case , all topics2 -
What you describe is usually found in favour of the consumer - hope that helps. Don't worry. Well worth fighting.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks, that's what I was hoping for, a bit of encouragement. I received the claim form on Friday, it's gone up to £246 now.Coupon-mad said:What you describe is usually found in favour of the consumer - hope that helps. Don't worry. Well worth fighting.
Interestingly they say on it that I agreed to pay within 28 days but did not. that's not true, I never agreed to pay at all.0 -
If that is for one PCN , they added spurious charges , of say £60 , which you object to , as shown in other threads on here
A typical loss is £200 or less in court , if only allowed charges are given , typically £75 on top of the pcn their greed could be their undoing
If you win , you pay nothing3 -

Indeed, this is standard stuff and of course they claim the D agreed to pay, otherwise there couldn't be a claim!
Please tell us the issue date, and follow the newbies thread on how and when to acknowledge service.3 -
The issue date is the 13th of Jan, it says to reply in 14 days but I can extend that to 28 if I need time to prepare my defence.nosferatu1001 said:Indeed, this is standard stuff and of course they claim the D agreed to pay, otherwise there couldn't be a claim!
