You haven't looked at the example WS in the NEWBIES thread yet, which is where you start.  Then you adapt that example with your story.

Something wrong there; you cannot arrive "alone" and with somebody else "his wife".  Also it is written in the first person so you would say "I" and "my wife" not "the defendant".
    Yes, should have read 'along'

That makes more sense, first edit as follows: -
On the evening in dispute question, The defendant alone with his I and my wife arrived at the car park at approx 7.20 pm. We were going to go to The Hippodrome. to see the 7.30 pm showing of Swan Lake, a Christmas present from our children.
In my opinion it is irrelevant who bought the tickets and what you were going to see.  Your witness statement should back up and support what you put in your defence, along with evidence.

I've just received a reply to my defence from DCB Legal.
Am I correct in ignoring this unless I want to settle out of court?
    Thanks

SCC is more informat than Crown Court, but it is still a court.  Pay no attention to shouty drama queen  Judge Rinder though, that is pure fantasy.  There is a You Tube video you vcan watch.

While looking at other cases on the forum I came across this one:
    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5504705/scs-law-letter-before-claim-for-multiple-pcns-over-1000/p11
He mentions the importance of asking the claimant for proof of their right to create a contract and take him to court.
To quote - "The judge immediately picked up on a passage in their witness statement which said spoke about the contract giving UKPC authority to issue tickets and bring court proceedings in its own name. The passage described the contract which gave them authority and said that it would be available on the day"
Is this something I should do?

It's in the template defence, as long as you didn't remove the point about landowner authority?

No, I never removed it, forgot it was there, to be honest.  I've just received the N180, need to sort out my WS now.
    Thanks

Does the N180 have to be posted or is it ok to send via email?
    Thanks
