plus their electronic images may be clearer than the ones they have printed for you.
The OP says ....... obviously just picked up the number plate due to the reflection from the light
Unless you think they might photoshop them ????  That would be a DVLA ban ?

The images of the car are VERY blurry, can't even see who is driving it I'll be honest - it's obviously just picked up the number plate due to the reflection from the light
My local Lidl has cameras in the car park and store, as well as the ANPR at the entrance.
Presumably monitoring the thousands of customers going in and out every day of the week?  Good luck in asking them to allocate some member of staff to pore over all the images for hours looking for someone they have no idea of who they are or what they look like!
    Looks like a plan.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Do we know yet whether Gemmalouise25 was using your local Lidl or not?
Do we know yet whether the one she visited has any clearer images of her?

I'm just looking on the planning application site now for the local council.

@beamerguy is right, I don't want to waste my money on something that might never go anywhere. The car is actually in my boyfriends name, so he was worried that if by not paying it would go on his credit file etc somehow

The ANPR cameras will record the time.  They might only have to look at the car park camera recordings at that time.

    No I don't think that.
But the print quality may not be as good as the image.
I read somewhere that England has more CCTV cameras per head of population than any other country in the world.
And they are likely to have images from other cameras.
Which would be easy to find as they know the time of entry and exit.

Why would Athena have to ask Lidl staff to look at the car park camera images?
Since they are working together I would think they can look at each other's car park cameras.
And an Athena employee, whose job it is to look at car park images, would know exactly where to look.

CCTV is different to ANPR and  CCTV is not available to parking companies as their could be a data breach where it shows other people.   The police and security companies can use CCTV

Don't get confused as you are giving misleading information and you don't want to do that ... do you ?

    You mean share personal data?

No, surely you don't mean that.
