Email the Lidl MD Christian Haertnagel and he will (in almost every case) cancel this. Do a forum search on his name which should show you the many other successful approaches to him have paid off. Emailing their customer services will not work - you will be fobbed off - only works with an approach to the MD.

if you are a regular Lidl customer, send copies of receipts or back copies of bank/cc statements to prove regular patronage.

The advice is as above, on every Athena thread.  Lidl will cancel it if you insist...

Doh!  How do they know that?
  • I have no receipt to prove it though?

Probably by their CCTV - lets be honest they have got you fair and square.
Personally I would rather cough up and forget about one like this than have the bother of fighting it.
    But everyone is different.
Although some say its not 'forum advice' (whatever that means)

At the risk of stating the obvious they know what the car looks like and could track her getting out of it.
Would you perjure yourself for £45?
  • The images of the car are VERY blurry, can't even see who is driving it I'll be honest - it's obviously just picked up the number plate due to the reflection from the light

before you do any thing I would check to see if the council planning permission says anything re parking.

Lots of Aldi / Lidl stores have planning permission that allows drivers to use the car park for other local amenities
