Round 2 completed: contents of one handbag shredded (voucher dated 2018) / binned / found a home (mini first aid kit); the other was empty. Contents of carrier bag: binned (broken ornament and pedometer that never worked anyway) / put in cs bag (leather bracelet) / washed - ornaments which will be put on my (currently empty) bedroom windowsill (after I've washed down the sill, of course). That just leaves a battery operated digital clock - I'll change the batteries and see if it works before I decide what to do with it.
Coffee now.

Good morning
I am up, dressed and breakfasted. DH is part way through a 20 mile race, so will be out for a while longer. DS is just having breakfast. I almost managed to complete my list for yesterday - the clothes still aren't sorted. We also popped to town to get some cards and bottle bags for last night, then had to get ready to go out. It wasn't a late one as we left at about 10, but had been there since 4:30!
OK - Time for a list!
Round 1
Put on DW
Fill a trug with compost from the garden
Take 2 full trugs to allotment
Lay cardboard and compost
Collect some wood chips to top up Lottie the Hottie
Potter before coming home!
Ok - I'm off to get changed into gardening gear now! Have a good day everyone

Afternoon all,Well last week was the week for unexpected clean-ups. Last night, I thought I'd get into bed early (8.40pm, so not that early really), pulled back the covers to find a bottle of Ribena had been poured into the middle of our bed (under the covers) by DS2 (my devil child). DH had left it on top of a chest of drawers and got "waylaid"
and forgot all about it. It had gone through the mattress protector, and covered everything but the pillows. Out comes trusty George to clean the mattress, whilst I frantically flushed the sheets etc out with cold water in the bath. My parents were called so we could get them to wash our duvet (our machine isn't big enough), and DH took it along to them. Luckily the blackcurrant came out (1 sheet needed washing twice and there's a faint stain on the mattress) and we had a spare duvet. So I had to redress the bed after drying the mattress out. I need to fold and put away the clean sheets now and put the new lot of washing in the TD. DH is going to collect the duvet later this afternoon as it's still a bit damp apparently.
DS1 had also been trying to fly yesterday using the lists to earn back his computer time that he'd lost through hurting his brother (this seems to be working well as I benefit from the help too). He managed to complete Level 1 from Tuesday, and Level 1 & 2 from Friday.DH is outside with the boys whilst they ride their bikes, so must get on with it all. Also need to make a lasagne for tonight.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20177 -
I'm bored on my own today but I have dusted bedroom and living room, sorted hand bags and done all the dailies. Also watched loads of telly. No pain yet today.Spend less now, work less later.7

Round 1 done, plus cutting the grass at the allotment courtesy of a neighbour offering to lend me his mower (actually he practically insisted! 😂)
I came back home for some lunch, and I have been chilling for the last hour. Now it's back out to the garden to fill up more trugs! I will get this earth moved!!6 -
pinches and punches for white rabbitss.. haha!
Got a few bits thrown at ebeast.. £108 if it (hopefully) sells.
Trying to find the login for my tax credits account to see if there is any indication why it was not paid last week leaving me with £6 for the foreseeable.. I have no other income at all and OH is not paid until the 13th and he doesn't get a great deal and it definitely will not cover what we have going out in the interim. .. We are utterly fkd over if they aren't paying anything because I can't afford fees on top of the monthly payments.
Cancelled as many payments as I can .. but cannot log in to TC account.. fgs..
I do not even know why I bother..
Dryer still out of action.. and I have nothing for the girls for dinner and no money to buy anything.. what do I feed them?! I am so sick of being alive now.. it should not be this much work.

Caught up with Fred.
Sexymouse so sorry to hear about your Nana. I agree with letting children see elderly people in their last stages of life. I lost my grandad at 4 and felt like I wasn't allowed to say goodbye so I made sure that my children were allowed to visit poorly and dying relatives so that they can have an understanding.
Yorkshirelass I hope you are able to get some normality and downtime when your DS treatment finishes. Hugs
Lamewolf Sorry to hear your black dog has grown so big. Is there nothing that can be done to help you?
Valli Yes it was me that had a birthday yesterday!
Piggers I wish there was something I could do to help. Have you tried looking at the 'Too good to go' app. DH has had a couple of 'magic boxes' from there for around £3. The Morrisons ones have had a lot of fruit and veg in them but it can be quite difficult to secure one. Yesterday we had a huge amount of carrots and potatoes but the previous one had much more variety including bread and pastries.
Flying, well little has been done as I did a lot last Sunday before starting the new job on Monday. That has gone really well and I am looking forward to going back for week 2. I did little flying in the week tho' as DH has managed to walk the dog in the day but not done a lot else including any prep for dinner so I had to do that and was a little bit miffed to say the least. Anyway it's not worth an argument so if I need to cook when I get in then I don't clean (other than the cooking stuff, countertops, and toilet swishing.)
Friday evening DD was home and we went out to a friend/former work colleague's Skincare/Makeup party. Yesterday was my birthday so DD and I went out to meet a friend for coffee and didn't come in until late afternoon when there was only time for a dog walk and cooking dinner for us including DS and pregnant GF who had come over to see me.
Today DD and I should have been going to Cambridge to have a look at a designer bag that she wants for her 21st birthday. It is sold out by the designer and this was a 'preloved' on a selling page that I had seen. The seller had communicated to me in the week that it was still available and she would meet me but then stopped responding to messages so I'm annoyed. I now have no idea what I am going to get DD for her birthday at the end of the month. The extra time, however, has not been put to particularly good use as I feel I have not done much and still have to walk the dog and get something done for dinner when DH returns from taking her back to Lincoln. I have sorted the finances for the coming month and done the Peter/Paul shuffle to ensure everything gets paid before I do at the end of this month.
I am hoping that flying will be a bit more productive when we can get into a routine, maybe next week?
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!6 -
Because it's been a lovely breezy day I've done loads of washing and got it dry outside. Also done mealprep for tomorrow's tea and got the SC out, so it's already to fling in in the morning. Lidl have chicken breast on offer so they've all been cooked for lunches. Made spag bog for lunch with YS meat from the freezer and a side salad for me - and a salad prepped for tomorrow's work lunch too.

2 more trugs filled and taken to the lottie (they are so heavy!) and spread on the beds with card underneath as per the 'no-dig' method. Hopefully the rain will stay away and I can do more tomorrow. But for now I have had enough!
I am going to settle down for the evening, watch Dr Who and hopefully do some paperwork. I have no idea what we are having for dinner - we haven't been shopping!
Have a good evening everyone 😊 x6 -
Hi all, in theory I have had a good weekend, in reality I feel really fed up. DS2 came home to visit with new GF, DS1 is doing well (physically at least), and I went for a rare night out last night. However, work is awful, we are sinking further into debt, and DS1 starts chemo again next week. Things can only get better I suppose. See you all on the new thread, I will try to stay in touch.9
