Thank God it’s Friday!
what a week. Realised that I need to stop moaning and get on with it. Glad for the weekend to spend time properly with DS.Went for a walk tonight with ds managed 1.29 miles. The sky seemed so clear and the moon & stars lovely & bright.
DH went for food shop said it was horrible. He had a massive nose bleed this morning he’s so stressed.Got my payslip today and I am getting my full pay as I am still working (from home). Such a relief and I may now sleep tonight.I’ve started an Fb album that just I can see it’s good to write me thoughts but keep them personal to me.
Not much of an update but keeps me on track. We are another day closer to normality.

Friday- a couple of NSDs gathered up so on 14/15. Have to pick up some fresh bits tomorrow, but only milk, bread and veg for the rabbits. Will grab some fresh fruit depending on what it looks like. I will be using the local village shop, I'm putting off a supermarket shop until I need a larger amount of stuff- suspect I will have to brave it next week.
Grateful for- a reasonably successful week of home-schooling, DD and I enjoying the long walks we have been going on every day, living in a village where we can walk in the woods, by a river or on quiet country lanes and very easily distance ourselves from anyone else. I would hate to have to exercise ourselves and our dog by walking round housing areas or roads of closed shops. I love where I live anyway, but even more so just now.
Take care turtles, Stay home if you can, Stay safe

Day 288 Things To Remember When Going Through Tough Times1 Everything can and will change2 You've overcome challenges before3 It's a learning experience4 Not getting what you want can be a blessing5 Allow yourself to have some fun6 Being kind to yourself is the best medicine7 Other people's negativity isn't worth worrying about8 There is always, always something to be thankful for"Finding Yourself" is not really how it works. You aren't a ten dollar bill in last winter's coat pocket. You are also not lost.Your true self is right there, buried under cultural conditioning, other people's opinions and inaccurate conclusions you drew as a kid that became your beliefs about who you are. "Finding Yourself" is actually returning to yourself, an unlearning, an excavation, a remembering who you were before the world got it's hands on you.Emily McDowellFirst time in historyWe can save the human race by lying in front of the tv and doing nothingLet's not screw this upMy mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage9

BadBookkeeper/facethemusic - I think how bad the grocery shop is depends where you live, I went Thursday and it was almost normal, almost. If there are several choices for people in your area it spreads people around, if there is just one choice then it might be different.Yesterday DH cleared all the weeds in an area of paving we have, it is gorgeous Yorkshire stone and looks so lovely now, I ordered some wildflower seeds on ebay and will sprinkle some of those in the gaps. Just walking around together in the garden yesterday we reckoned we could fill 3 weeks at home easily with all the jobs that need doing. Got the kids out for half an hour for a walk up a big hill with dog, we all went together, it is well populted here but everyone is still managing to avoid each other.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Morning everyone
Thanks for all the wise words mothernerd. And I like the point about saving humanity by lying in front of the TV!
I had lots of tech problems yesterday that affected both my FT & self employment role. Then DD2 wouldn't let me try something on her laptop - she relented later so I'll try today.
As I was in a grump I decided to brave the SM - was quieter than usual but difficult to keep a distance at all times. Felt sorry for the staff on the checkouts. Anyway stocked up on nearly all stuff I needed. Left some flowers on my friend's doormat as shes been working all week & sounded frazzled & worn out.
May visit zero waste shop today for flour as they had some last week & we've used ours all now. Thinking will get a veg box delivered next week. Also going to do some housework & decluttering. Would like a calm environment.
Glad to see the sun is shining again so more washing can get dried, will wash the curtains today I think.
Take care everyone

NSD 19 I think. Funny how all the days roll together when you are under semi- house arrest. It has been a time of discovery and revelation. I have discovered oat milk is pants, but you can cook with it. I have discovered everyone in the house is better at finding things to do than I am. I have also discovered nobody gives a damnation about any mess in the house except me.Still, while they are all hiding under their corona fallout duvet shelters, they are making less laundry and fewer crumbs.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

DD2 (8) is doing the 'don' 't leave the room for 24 hours' challenge. She packed a bag full of food, cutlery, toothbrush, pencils and paper and is vegging on the sofa in front of the telly, doing her bit against corona
. She plans to sleep on the sofa, too.
Last night, husband had atchieke leftovers, I had sauerkraut and mash from the freezer, dds had freezer chips and meaty snacks. I have heard that a corona virus can survive for 2 years at - 20 degrees, so we are not buying New frozen stuff for now.Are you wombling, too, in '22? € 58,96 = £ 52.09Wombling in Restrictive Times (2021) € 2.138,82 = £ 1,813.15Wombabeluba 2020! € 453,22 = £ 403.842019's wi-wa-wombles € 2.244,20 = £ 1,909.46Wombling to wealth 2018 € 972,97 = £ 879.54Still a womble 2017 #25 € 7.116,68 = £ 6,309.50Wombling Free 2016 #2 € 3.484,31 = £ 3,104.597 -

I can't be bothering with all of this, tbh I am doing as the government has asked but beyond that I am just getting on with life, no special precautions going on here, just normal hygiene, there is no way you can not be exposed to risks, I am of the mind that if I get it I get it and will deal with it as and when, that is just how life is meant to be.
