A question which may have already been answered definitely but not sure.
Does the 12 months run from date of account opening or receipt of first deposit? Having missed deposit window for August wondering when best to do Septembers?
Many thanks.
I'd make the deposit as soon as you can now.2 -

See:I thought it may be of use for those who have NLA regular savers but can't find where they've saved the terms and conditions for them. It isn't a complete list at the moment but it lists all of the ones I can currently find terms for. If there are any I've missed, particularly if you have the terms and conditions for them to hand please let me know and I'll add them to the list.I haven't included children's regular savers yet but I intend to add these at some point over the next week.4

I was able to compile most of it over the course of the last couple of days to be fair and many of the terms were already archived on the wayback machine anyway so it was often just a case of copy and paste into a spreadsheet with a spot of link guessing thrown in to find some of the others.
One thing I might as well point out whilst I'm at it is for those who have the NLA HEBS branch saver that tracks the BOE base rate, the original terms for the account are also visible in the HEBS branch regular saver link due to the way their website is structured.
Also please do let me know if there are any suggestions as to how the thread could be improved.

It goes from bad to worse. I (existing member) applied for the Exclusive the first morning (23/8). I've heard nothing. Not a peep.
Went to log in this morning to check that my 1/9 deposits to my existing RSs arrived safely - and to send a secure message about the Exclusive.
My log in details have expired!! Needed to update them, did so - and I'm getting a LETTER with a validation code!! Unbelieveable
It's not the fault of the staff, it's the ridiculously antiquated systems.1 -

Unfortunately yes, the only way to regain access is via a code sent through the post, it's just how they and many others do it.
But more importantly, details expired?
I've been a member for years and never experienced expired details, when did you last log in?0 -
I applied for both of the new MonBS RS accounts when they were announced.
I've given up trying to track signature validations, passbooks, notifications and simply shot them £300 by FP as soon as I spotted a new account number.
Checking today I have two new active accounts, both funded with £300 in August. Have, of course, added another £300 each today.
It may be, er, idiosyncratic but it gets there eventually.4 -

The MBS saga: Meanwhile, my grandma would have manually opened all the accounts and cooked some Bolognese Sauce too. Please go on, never read anything funnier and more entertaining, we all need a bit of laughs these days2

Not even had the signature letter for the 8% so I don't know the details. Not as important now that we're in September.0
