If the account is opened on 25th August 2023 and a month is a calendar month, are we sure that the end date of the  "12 months" is not 31st of August 2024?
In common with all other BS, maturity is on the 12 month anniversary of opening the account i.e 25th August 2024.

This is the detail from my MonBS RS:

    Account Information

    Product Name:CORONATION REGULAR SAVER
    Date Opened26/04/2023
    Next Interest Due Date31/03/2024
Is "Next Interest Due Date" the same as Maturity Date?
There is an anomaly on this account.
    In one place it states:-
    • Interest is variable and calculated on a daily basis on the balance in the account and paid at the end of the 12-month term.
    Elsewhere it states:-

    •  Interest is paid annually and can be added to the account or paid into a suitable bank/ building society account or suitable Monmouthshire Building Society account following close of business 31 March.
Looking at my, MONBS online, all my accounts show interest to be payable 31st March, however, this is wrong and contradicts the actual account terms

I need to clarify this with them for tax reasons.

Fortunately however, there is no such ambiguity for the latest 2 products - interest is paid at the end of the term
  • Leeds Regular Saver Issue 43 has now been replaced by Issue 44 at the same rate (5.25%), maturing on 1/9/25.
Anyone has any experience with LeedsBS? I opened an account but haven't funded yet because I can't see it on line till I receive a code by post. The saver is attractive because if the 2 years period, but I don't know these people. Anyone know them and how they work?

Anyone with the NLA Buckinghamshire Locals Regular Saver does slightly better with their rate rising to 4.5%

The Lord of Monmouthshire, Chapter 43

Tried opening an Exclusive Saver alongside the EA and RS last Wednesday. Signatory forms for the latter arrived on Saturday and Tuesday. Passbook for the Exclusive Saver arrived today! No signatory form, no issue with not being an existing customer!

    Bemused but happy!

My advice to those interested in the Exclusive Saver who aren't existing customers: just apply for an EA and then apply for the Exclusive Saver, and be prepared for an odd experience....

"You are only allowed one account per customer including joint accounts. You may only hold one Leeds Building Society Regular Saver product at a time. If a second Regular Saver account is opened all the money in the second account will be transferred to the current instant access account available to new customers."
