I've had an interest statement from Stafford Railway BS and neither the interest credited, nor the balance, is correct. Already had the passbook updated and it's wrong on both counts.0 -

Re Chorley Members Regular Saver
They have obviously realised the interest cited in their original fact sheet (£55.50) was incorrect as I received an apology letter and revised fact sheet today with the interest now showing as £29.95.0 -
The Buckinghamshire locals only RS at 1.2% and £500 is probably worth adding SS?
The 'normal' members at 0.95 and £500 probably falls short?0 -
On the Bucks RS Locals, I got this account a while back when it was 2%, by being an existing customer even though not in their postcode areas. With unlimited withdrawals, I use it as an instant access account0

Hi Folks,
Here is this weekend's update to this thread.
Thanks for mentioning the new Chorley BS account. I cannot find it on their website yet unfortunately.
I have not included the Bucks Locals 1.2% RS account as it falls below the criteria stated on page 1 of this thread and I would point out that you could open a NS&I Income Bonds account paying 1.16% without restrictions.
I will do the next update next weekend.

Their savings T&C state to be eligible must reside in UK which is what I read when opened the saver plus a couple of months ago (just before rate drop so you can all blame me!!) and only saw the website saying England and Wales after I opened it. I phoned them and clarified that the web site is wrong and all their savings accounts are open to the whole of UK and it's only their mortgage products that are restricted to England and Wales.4 -
Thanks a lot, I have just updated the first page with that information.4

Loughborough BS Monthly Saver 2Another rate drop I'm afraid. Down from 1.75% to 1.1% from 9th July with terms changing to those of their Flexible monthly saver. Maximum monthly deposit allowed increases to £500 and minimum of 9 monthly deposits to be made.2

Do you have a letter listing any other LBS RS account rate amendments? Monthly saver (first issue without a number, or other issues) and Save to Buy?0
