    I've also just noticed that they've opened 2 Exclusive Regular Savers for me...I got 2 passbooks today, assumed 1 was the normal one and the other was the Exclusive, but on closer inspection they both have Exclusive Regular Saver printed at the top with different account numbers  :#
    Max them out quick, you'll probably get 8% on both (until they notice their mistake).

    Unless I get 2 Exclusive Savers too I shall be submitting a formal written complaint to the Ombudsperson on the grounds of unfairness, discrimination and having a huffy.

    I got this as well, bit weird since I've had accounts with them for over a year so not sure why it's necessary. 
    Same.  Signed & returned forms this morning and will deposit £300 by FP on Tuesday.

    I applied Wednesday morning, just before 11 am, for both MBS savers. I never received any email confirmation, and also nothing in the Post so far.

    Are you an existing member as from questions you posted on Wednesday you didn't seem to know Monmouthshire procedures?

    Seems many of those who posted on here that they had phoned to chase them up after submitting their application are still waiting. Perhaps phoning is pushing their applications back in the queue to be processed? 😂

    There seems to be a little inconsistency with how they're opening them.  I opened both Exclusive RS and Regular Saver late Wednesday (or at least I think I applied for the two different ones!).  I've received the usual signature letter today for the 7% one (which I applied for after the 8% one), but no passbook's been enclosed with it.  I've had accounts with them for donkey's years, so passbook exclusion's not that reason.  I'm just hoping that I haven't made an error and applied for just the one type of account.  This is the trouble when they don't send automatic emails out immediately after an application's been made.

    I applied as soon as they became available Weds morning. Have had e-mails to confirm the accounts are in the process of opening, but nothing received in the post.
    No great concern, I'm sure the confirmations will arrive early next week, but even if they don't it's still not a problem as the maturity date is set from the first deposit date, not the opening date and you could leave the first deposit to near the end of Sept .

    I am indeed an existing member. And I did phone them on Wednesday because I never got any confirmation of my applications. But they never asked my name, and I did not give it to them so they woouldn't have known which application to mischievously put back.

    I was not an existing member, and got a letter today asking me to confirm my signature. Confusingly the letter also said it came with a product sheet with T&Cs etc but it didn’t…

    Seems that MBS's manual admin processes are rather muddled. 
    My letter state that I've read and understood three online documents - including the T&Cs.
    I've found the staff there really friendly and helpful in the past, it's not their fault that the systems are woeful.
