    Anyone else got a message from Tipton app saying 'To proceed with your application we need to confirm your identity and address'? Frustrating to say the least - was hoping to get a June deposit in
    Yes, me just now on trying to apply through the app!
    Did it tell you that your postcode was unknown? It did for me - unsure why, house has been here more than 10 years

    Apologies if it's been mentioned already but according to moneyfacts Tipton and Cosley BS will launch a 5.5% regular saver tomorrow. It's branch/post opening, allows deposits of £50-£500/mth.

    They'll also be launching an app version at the same rate.
    I looked at the info. It says you can't withdraw, but I can't see anything about closure. Do you know if closure is permitted?

    They'll also be launching an app version at the same rate.
    Good spot - odd it launches on a Saturday.

    Wonder if it will be fixed or variable, and if it will allow penalty free closure or not - it says no withdrawals permitted
    It is variable, so hopefully will go up at some point this year.

    Did it tell you that your postcode was unknown? It did for me - unsure why, house has been here more than 10 years
    It did recognise my postcode, but didn't have the country I was born on the list so I selected another country that borders it.  How does it matter what country I was born anyway, can't see any relevance? Had a problem going back and forth with keypad being on the way, weird layout... at the end of the process it said "To proceed with your application we need to confirm your identity and address...please contact us for more information on 01217690727".  Not sure if I want to call them for 5.5%.

    I didn’t get asked for my address, only my tax status and that was about it other than confirming I had read some t & cs

    No need to rush to transfer funds from Skipton account to regular saver  :|
     
    "The date that you selected is not a working day, this transfer will be processed the next working day (3 July 2023)"
