    From their terms:

    So even if you did get the account open today I doubt the money would be added to your account before July since we are now outside their normal business opening hours.

    Out of interest @dingling68, have you successfully been electronically verified at other places before, or is this a frequent occurrence for you please? I believed I was all set up with the CRAs, but seems something is up. Wondering about trying again perhaps, but don't want to waste time.

    Anyone been successfully verified through the app? Anyone else not been?

    Ah well, I feel a lot less frustrated about the delay now - thanks for pointing that out :)

    I seem to remember that the proceeds from former Tipton RSs can only be received by cheque through the post. Is this still true for this new account?

    I have about a 98% success rate I would say for being electronically verified ;) . 

    Newbury is the only one in the last few weeks that has asked for ID and I have opened a number of accounts including those Vanquis / Oxbury / NBS

    I suspect the Tipton in app application will function OK from tomorrow considering the a/c only starts then.

    Cash/Cheque W/Ds not permitted, nominated a/c only
