I wonder if this will be like their Small Saver, in that you can't have this if you have one of their 12 month Members Regular Saver (with the exception of the Regular Saver ISA).
£50 per month max but application suggests can deposit £500 initially
Probably just a bug0 -

Probably just a bugI was invited to make an initial deposit of £600... very tempting at 9%. But I went with £50.The application process was very slow compared to normal, I think people may have problems later.0 -
Re Skipton - all sorted - I called up.
Re Saffron - their form is correct. Their system displays the maximum account balance, rather than the maximum monthly deposit. I've checked this with them before, and they agreed it is confusing, but said it is a limitation of their current system and is working as it should.

Seems like you can at least begin the application process even if you don't meet the Saffron BS criteria (e.g. you opened your first account with them more recently than June 2022), however from my experience Saffron do seem to have a control in place for catching ineligible account holders and then closing + returning funds a few days later, so most likely wouldn't be worth trying.0

Opened Skipton from the app - funding seems manual, both initial and each month thereafter, it seems?0

Skipton opened and funded in less than 2 mins.
Now Saffron.
Will also reduce monthly deposits into any Fixed rate regular savers paying less than 5.5%3 -
