Thanks for posting those Leeds links. It had somehow escaped me that the interest rate drops to 1.8% above £6k, so my SO would have run for too long. Amended now to stop earlier.

It is a two year account @ £250 max/month. They should have contacted you for withdrawal instructions prior to maturity.
I was on their issue 34, which they upgraded for me to issue 37, with several hundred already in the account. So I will bust the £6k a few months before maturity.
The upgrade should. have moved your maturity date to 24 months from then. The balance in issue 34 should have been used to fund the 1st month @ £250 on issue 37 with any excess refunded to your nominated account. Check your online account.
No worries. I have checked my account and all is in order.

Yes.  I have 2 accounts with YBS and both are increasing by 0.25% from 5th April.

Just noticed from the above when I went onto the Leeds website that they also have a ‘home deposit saver’ account

    https://www.leedsbuildingsociety.co.uk/savings/regular-saver/home-deposit-saver/

4%, £500 p/m upto £30k with one withdrawal per year.
    Thanks!

Are we permitted to hold a Regular Saver and the Home Deposit Saver (HDS)? The RS T&Cs state "...you may only hold one Leeds Building Society Regular Saver product at a time" but there's no equivalent term for the HDS but this account is listed on the "Regular Saver accounts" page.
My guess is it's ok to hold both but I don't want to ask them in case they say no!
  • Surely if they are both regular saver products and you can only hold one regular saver then you can't hold both accounts ?

My thinking is that they mean you cannot hold two RS issues (i.e. 37 and 38) at the same time.

They are both regular savers, but the home deposit saver isn't called like home deposit regular saver.

As there is no equivalent term in the HDS summary, I think you can hold a HDS and 1 issue of the RS at the same time, but I'm not sure.

I can see both ways to be honest.

Regardless I can't seem to be able to open the home deposit saver anyway. If I click apply it asks me to log in, once logged in I click open new savings product and it takes me to the product selection. I click apply it asks me to log in again so I appear to be stuck in a bit of a doom loop. Is anybody else finding this?

I already hold the regular saver issue 36.
