Numbers starting with 03 are actually national numbers. They are, as you say, tariffed at the same rate as 01 and 02 numbers.gt94sss2 said:
An 03 number is a local number and charged at the same rate as a 01 or 02 number.Bridlington1 saidOne thing I have discovered in the process though is that with Leeds BS if you ring your local branch but the lines are busy you will get put straight through to their main call centre, which could prove useful if you don't get charged for local rate calls but do if you ring an 03 number.1 -
Been like it for weeks. One way round it is to apply as a customer without already having a login, but then you'll have 2 !Bridlington1 said:
Regardless I can't seem to be able to open the home deposit saver anyway. If I click apply it asks me to log in, once logged in I click open new savings product and it takes me to the product selection. I click apply it asks me to log in again so I appear to be stuck in a bit of a doom loop. Is anybody else finding this?subjecttocontract said:Surely if they are both regular saver products and you can only hold one regular saver then you can't hold both accounts ?
I already hold the regular saver issue 36.1 -
After all the hassle I've had with TSB I don't think I could stand yet another split profile.Wheres_My_Cashback said:

Try with a different web browser. As an existing member with online access, I had exactly the same problem using Firefox, but completed the application successfully using Chrome. No need to register for a new online account.Bridlington1 said:

The issue for me is that our broadband provider will give us free calls to anywhere in our dialing code but will charge us to use any other number with the exception of freephone numbers.gt94sss2 said:

As my local Leeds BS has the same dialing code as me, I can ring the branch for free but would get charged for calling their main call centre.3 -
I've tried chrome and firefox on my laptop already. On my phone I've tried chrome and duckduckgo browser and I've ended up in the same doom loop every time. I suspect I may need to visit a branch on this one.Big_W said:

Doesn't work on Chrome or Safari for me. I have messaged them to request they sort it, but won't hold my breath waiting.Big_W said:

EDIT : It's a caching issue, cleared mine and no problem on Chrome.2 -
Yesterday, I had the same problem of looping back to a login prompt as you reported, using the Firefox Extended Support Release that I use for my financial activities. But it did work using a later version of Firefox (v97) that I use for testing. Once the account had been set-up, I've been able to access it using my standard ESR version to check that the overnight standing order from my bank has been credited.Bridlington1 said:

Of course, it could be something in the cache/cookies because they're unique to each Firefox version.
Apologies for clogging this Regular Saver thread with an IT issue.

Nationwide have released their new rates https://www.nationwide.co.uk/-/assets/nationwidecouk/documents/savings/branch-notices/smd648-changes-to-savings-accounts-1-april-2023.pdf?rev=3a594c2792c544e19b86baeda1f1ecf0 (thanks @GalacticaActual)
Disappointingly, they are not increasing the rate on either the Flex Regular Saver, or the Start to Save Issue 2. These remain at their rates as of 1st December 2022...

As has been mentioned, they don't need any of our money. When my 1 year flexdirect c/a interest ends, there will be no point saving with Nationwide an further.ForumUser7 said:Nationwide have released their new rates https://www.nationwide.co.uk/-/assets/nationwidecouk/documents/savings/branch-notices/smd648-changes-to-savings-accounts-1-april-2023.pdf?rev=3a594c2792c544e19b86baeda1f1ecf0 (thanks @GalacticaActual)

Their regular saver takes forever to build a decent amount, hardly worth bothering with. The only reason I continue funding it is the prise draw. Someone on here won in the last draw, so there's that.3
