Top right of home screen is a link for 'add new account'. Click and enter your account number. The account will appear and say 'pending' with no balance for 24 hours.ChaskhaChaia said:I applied for the Monbs Christmas Saver on the day that it released at the end of November 2022. I have no previous relationship with Monbs. I sent neither a cheque (even if I was aware of their antiquated process, I don't even have a cheque book to use to write a cheque!) nor the additional form regarding the nominated bank account. Today I received my letter/passbook so I finally have my account number (hurrah!) I fortunately was not asked to provide a certified bank statement or other documentation.
I've made my first deposit (Yes, I've missed December but not a lot that I can do about that now) and have requested online access (as part of that process they asked me details of my nominated account for withdrawals so presumably that will negate the need for a physical form). Hopefully the activation key will turn up at some point so that I can use the online account access, although as I don't intend to make any withdrawals from the account until closure date this is less of a priority now that I finally have my account number!1 -
Yes I've done this, but as I'm a brand new customer I had to register to use the service and have to wait to receive an activation code through the post.chris_the_bee said:

How many posts about the Monbs Christmas Saver? There is already a specific thread for that. Thanks

Johnmoney05 think its been made clear not everyone feels the other specific thread about Monmouthshire is relevant and better to keep it all together here so things not duplicated or missed at later date when someone searching.
As I said earlier whether its specific institutes accounts or comments in a thread nobody is forced to open or read them so sometimes best just to give the account or in this case the posts a miss and move on!!
It's interesting though that all those people complaining about Monmouthshire have opened and continue to fund the account, I thought they would as a matter of principal refuse to fund it but clearly not bothered enough by Monmouthshire deficiencies to boycott the account or institution!! Here's hoping they decide to maintain market leading rates rather than spend that money upgrading their IT system so we can all instantly see what we are earning!!1 -
@ChaskhaChaia if you want to get your money out of MonBS at maturity, rather than by cheque, you do need a verified nominated account. I would recommend you set the registration in train as soon as possible so you are all set for laterChaskhaChaia said:I applied for the Monbs Christmas Saver on the day that it released at the end of November 2022. Everyone knows that it isn't about being able to instantly see what we are earning. Especially as yet another person just posted that they weren't as fortunate as you were but only received their account number today. People just want to be able to deposit their money, in the same way as some others (incl you and me) were enabled to do by MonBS. Why keep making fun of their bad luck?SFindlay said:

Glad to see though that you have moved on from claiming that it is beyond you what people think they are gaining by having the passbook in their possession.4 -

Me to, it’s only a more recent letter with a reply paid envelope that asks for a bank statement.ChaskhaChaia said:
