In the past they have been a month later than most, and they put them on their rates page in advance, so I too would suspect 1 October, with it showing as a future rate mid-September

I only asked them last week what the BoE announcement meant for the RS I held with them and they told me wrong!

When you say treacle slow, how slow is that. I made my first payment today via a SO and is not showing as yet.

My deposit from last Thursday morning showed  late last Thursday. At that time, I made another deposit which did not show at 8am today but had appeared when I checked again after 12:30. I have a feeling they assign payments to the account manually.

Mine took 4 working days, with a weekend in between. Hopefully yours will arrive in a day or two.

No sign yet of my passbook, either. But I won’t need it for quite a while yet, unless interest rates suddenly jump massively and SRBS don’t follow suit
